Popular with the inhabitants of the capital is Cacuaco, which was still a small fishing village in 1936, because of its white sandy beaches. Market 30 (Mercado do 30) is one of the largest markets in the Luanda area, where agricultural products from the surrounding regions are sold. From there, many traders in Luanda source their fruit and vegetables, which they sell at stands or on foot in the city center.

Frequent power outages, car accidents caused by the tropical climate and poor road conditions, as well as general difficulties of a developing country make Angola an adventure not for the faint-hearted. Many parts of the country have not been visited for decades by anyone, and no one can truly say what is still hidden in the deep jungles of the country.
