Day 1 Arrive Baku (By Flight)

Day 2 Baku – Shamakhy (By Road) (123 kms / 1 hrs / 45 mins appx.)

Sightseeing tour “Land of fires” “Ateshgah” Fire- Worshippers’ Temple in Surakhany settlement medieval castle in Ramana settlement, survey of the oldest oil fields in Balakhani settlement, visiting “Yanardag”natural reserve (natural gas exit), acquaintance with dietary salt extraction on “Masazir”lake. Departure from Masazir settlement to Shamakhy . On the way visiting “Diri Baba” mausoleum in Maraza village. Arriving in Shamakhy. Day 3 Shamakhy – Lahij – Sheki (By Road) (427 kms / 5 hrs 45 mins appx.)
Proceed Continuation of the trip to Lahij via Muganly pass. Photo stops on in the most picturesque places in the mountains. Arrival at Lahij mountain settlement of national handicraft. Day 4 Sheki – Mingachevir (By Road) (73 kms / 1 hrs appx.)
Proceed to Sightseeing program in Sheki (excursion and museums): – Visiting Sheki “East Market” – Panoramic view of Sheki city from the mountain – Survey of fortifications and caravanserais in the Old city Visiting History Museum Visiting “Sheki Khan’s palace” under UNESCO protection. Day 06 Ganja – Naftalan – Baku (By Road) (398 kms / 4 hrs 48 mins appx.)
Proceed to Continuation of excursion program in Ganja city, Survey of the medieval fortress gate copy of the city; – Mausoleum of the famous medieval poet and philosopher Nizami Ganjavi; Travel from Ganja to Naftalan resort. Day 07 Baku – Gobustan – Baku (By Road) ( 93 kms / 2 hrs – One Way)
proceed to Qobustan National Historical – Artist Preserve. Acquaintance with archaeological exposition of the museum, lifestyle of ancient people of “Stone Age” epoch Survey of Gobustan petro glyphs. Moving back to Baku city. After Lunch, proceed to Sightseeing tour around Baku – walking and acquaintance with the history and architecture of city. Nizami street /shopping/, “Fountain Square”, monument to Nizami Ganjavi, Rasul-zade Street, leading to the Seaside Park- Boulevard (for interested persons and additional payment, at favorable windless weather, – 0,5 hour boat cruise through the Baku bay. Day 08 Baku – Guba – Khinaliq village – Baku (By Road) (439 km/ 7 hrs appx)
Proceed to Guba and Xinaliq village. On the way to Khinaliq photo stop on the mountain beautiful places. After Lunch, meet assist and transfer to Khinaliq. Tour around the village and acquaintance with life style of local people. Drive back to Baku city. Overnight In Baku.

Day 09 Depart Baku

Azerbaijan, the nation and former Soviet republic, is bounded by the Caspian Sea and Caucasus Mountains, which span Asia and Europe. Its capital, Baku, is famed for its medieval walled Inner City. Within the Inner City lies the Palace of the Shirvanshahs, a royal retreat dating to the 15th century, and the centuries-old stone Maiden Tower, which dominates the city skyline.

Itinerary

Day 1 Arrive Banku (By Flight)

Day 2 Baku – Absheron Peninsula – Baku (By Road) (15 km/24 min-One Way)
Proceed to Sightseeing tour of Baku Mountain Park and Memorial in the “Alley of the martyrs,” Panorama of the city of Baku, sightseeing the historical-architectural reserve “Icheri Shaher” (Historical Medieval Town “Baku fortress”) with a visit to the memorial sites connected with the biography of Apostle Bartholomew. Day 3 Baku-Shamakhy-Gabala(Nij)-Oghuz (By Road) (275 km/ 5 hrs appx.)
Proceed In route, visiting the preserved architectural and archaeological monuments of the ancient capital of the Stateof Caucasian Albania, the city Kabalaka and places of compact settlement of ancient Caucasian nationality “Udin”; a religion of this pople was Christianity. Inspection of local Christian churches: “Dzhotaari church” / refurbished, “Boulogne church» and ruins of the Christian chapel on the outskirts of Oguz Afternoon lunch, proceed to Oguz meet assist and transfer to hotel. Day 4 Oghuz – Sheki – Qakh (By Road) (93 kms / 1 hrs 25 mins appx.)
