Echo Point has views stretching across to the Three Sisters – a trio of rocky pinnacles. Stop at Featherdale Wildlife Park situated on seven acres of natural bush setting.
You will be able to hand-feed kangaroos, wallabies and emus and enjoy a face-to-face encounter with one of the friendly koalas. You have the option to escape the city traffic on your return to the city. Board your cruise and relax as you make your way down the Parramatta River, admiring waterside suburbs and scenery along the way, passing under the Sydney Harbour Bridge before arriving at Circular Quay or Darling Harbour. Day 03 Sydney
Proceed This Orientation tour lets you to explore the wonders of Australia’s famous harbour city that is bursting with beautiful sun-drenched beaches and much more. You would begin with the Darling Harbour which is one of the city’s largest dining, shopping and entertainment areas. The tour would then take you to the Rocks Market – an open-air market near the harbour that offers a spectacular view as you browse around the cobbled street and shop for your heart’s desires. Mrs. Macquarie’s Chair sits high on the peninsula known as Mrs. Macquarie’s Point and is an exposed sandstone rock that was hand-carved into a bench by convicts in 1810. It is said that Mrs. Macquarie, the wife of the then New South Wales Governor, was known to visit the area to take in the views.
Conclude the tour with Visit to Manley or Bondi Beach few of the most famous beaches in the world. Later drop would be at Darling Harbour and guest can make their own way back to the hotel. Overnight in Sydney.

Day 05 Adelaide
Proceed to day with leisure or add experience Kangaroo Island full day tour with Cruise (extra cost). start this day early for your journey for the Kangaroo Island a tourism destination with remarkable rocks, playful fur seals and of course the original natives of Australia – kangaroos. You would be picked up from the hotel to head to Cape Jervis for a 45-minute ferry ride to Kangaroo Island. The island is a great place to enjoy the beauty and wildlife of Australia. Like at the Seal Bay you could go for a guided walk on the beach and meet the rare and wild Australian Sea Lions.
Then you would go to the Vivonne Bay for a two-course lunch following which you would visit to Hanson Bay Wildlife Sanctuary. You would then spend the afternoon at Flinders Chase National Park – a sanctuary that houses many native Australian animals including kangaroos, wallabies, koalas and echidnas. This would be followed by a walk at the coastline around Remarkable Rocks and Admiral’s Arch for photographic opportunities of rugged cliff faces that reveal spectacular rock archways. This natural nursery and safe haven for playful New Zealand fur seals is also a great way to watch them resting, swimming and playing in the waves or on the rocks. Day 06 Adelaide
Proceed to Adelaide city tour and tour guide introduce you to this delightful city, which is surrounded by parklands with a blend of historic buildings, wide streets, cafés and restaurants. You would drive past Adelaide’s cultural precinct. North Terrace, the National Wine Centre, Adelaide Botanic Gardens and the beautiful Botanic Park – home to the Bicentennial Conservatory and the Adelaide Zoo.
Your journey would continue through historic North Adelaide, where you would see tree-lined streets, mansions and historic buildings. Here you could stop and visit the iconic St. Peters Cathedral or the newly developed Adelaide Oval, followed by a drive to the Haigh’s Chocolates Visitor Centre for a factory tour and tastings of the famous South Australian chocolate. return to city via South Parklands, West Terrace and North Terrace. (Please note that the Haigh’s Chocolates’ factory tour & tastings does not operate on Sundays and South Australian Public Holidays; therefore the itinerary will be changed to include a visit to the National Wine Centre. Ahmedabad – was founded by sultan Ahmad shah in the year 1411 a.d with Blessings of his spiritual adviser shaikh Ahmad khattu ganj baksha of Sarkhej at the site of an old town of ashawal and karnavati. Visit- Ahmad Shah Mosque dating from 1414, this was one of the earliest mosques in the city and was probably built on the site of a Hindu temple, using Parts of that temple in its construction. Jami Masjid Jumma Mosque It is built by city founder sultan Ahmad Shah in 1423 near three gates tran darwaja the architecture of the Mosque are hindu and muslim. Hatheesingh Jain Temple Built outside Delhi gate in 1848 by a rich jain Merchant sheth hatheesingh, it was designed by premchand salat and is Dedicated to dharmanath, the fifteenth tirthankar. Sabarmathi Ashram which is 7km from the centre town, on the west bank of the Sabarmati River.

Sidi Saiyad Mosque is one of the famous mosques of India which is situated at Ahmedabad, Gujarat. Slave of Sultan Ahemad Shah named Sidi Saiyad built this Sidi Saiyad mosque in 1573. Mosque was built during the last year of Gujarat Sultanate. Sidi Saiyad mosque became famous for it’s latticework windows which are also known as Jalis. Construction of this mosque was done in Indi Saracenic Architecture. Sidi Saiyad ni jali becomes inspirations for logo of Indian Institute of management Ahmedabad.

Swaminarayan Temple This temple is the first temple of the Swaminarayan sect to have been built. In 1822, the land was given by the British government to do so, and Swaminarayan himself entrusted the responsibility for the construction of the temple to Ananandanand Swami. The temple is carved in Burmese teak, and every arch and bracket is painted with bright colors, a defining characteristic of Swaminarayan temples everywhere. There are several idols installed by Swaminarayan himself, as well as a display of some of his personal items and sculptures. In the adjoining haveli, there are quarters for pilgrims of the sect, a special section for women, and an area where ceremonies and teaching sessions are held for women only.

Adalaj Stepwell Set in the quiet village of Adalaj, this vav has served as a resting place for hundreds of years for many pilgrims and caravans along their trade routes. Built in 1499 by Queen Rudabai, wife of the Vaghela chief, Veersinh, this five-storey stepwell was not just a cultural and utilitarian space, but also a spiritual refuge. It is believed that villagers would come everyday in the morning to fill water, offer prayers to the deities carved into the walls and interact with each other in the cool shade of the vav.

Day 03 Ahmedabad – Lothal – Bhavnagar (By Road) (250 kms / 5 ½ Hours)

Lothal began as a small village on the Sabarmati river, inhabited by people using “red ware” micaceous pottery similar to today’s terracotta, during the Chalcolithic era. Sea-faring merchants, and later the potters, masons, smiths, and seal-cutters of the Indus Valley Civilization, established a colony at Lothal circa 2450 BC, bringing with them their tools, technology, crafts, and expanded sea-borne trade. Lothal soon became an industrial center, one of the southernmost outposts of the Indus Valley Civilization, and the most important port of the empire.

Bhavnagar is situated 198 km from the state capital Gandhinagar and to the west of the Gulf of Khambhat. It has always been an important city for trade with many large and small scale industries along with the world’s largest ship breaking yard located 50 km away. Palitana Jain temples, which are important holy places for Jains, are situated 56 km away, and Velavadar national park, home to endangered species of wolves, antelopes and blackbucks, is situated 42 km away.

Day 04 Bhavnagar – Palitana – Diu (By Road) (260 kms / 6 Hours)

Palitana – Shatrunjaya Temple The climb up Shatrunjaya is no doubt the primary activity of a Palitana visit, for Jains and non-Jains alike. The hill is 3 kms from Palitana proper, and the 600 m climb over 3000 stairs to the top of the mountain is an unforgettable experience. Beginning at dawn is recommended, to avoid the mid-day heat. Frequent rest stops to visit temples along the way also help avoid overheating. Many devotees even gather at the highest temples before sunrise, having climbed in the predawn twilight. Be sure to carry enough water and leave a few hours to explore the mountain. Idols are bathed around 9:30am, and pujas tend to be performed around noon. If climbing in the afternoon, be sure to descend with enough time to arrive at the bottom before dark.

The construction of temples of Palitana spanned over a period of 900 years and was structured in two phases. From the 11th to 12th centuries AD as a part of the resurgence of temple building all over India, the first phase of temple architecture was constructed. The second phase followed later, from the 16th century AD onwards. Muslim invaders destroyed some of the earliest temples built in the 11th century AD during the 14th and 15th centuries AD. No one person can be attributed for the construction of these magnificent temples rather it was the effort of the wealthy businessmen who were followers of Jainism.

Day 05 Diu

Daman and Diu are the two tiny union territories which were the Portuguese enclaves. Geographically, Daman and Diu are the part of the state of Gujarat and connected to the mainland of Gujarat by a causeway. Diu is a tiny island in the Arabian Sea, about 11 kms. long and 3 kms. wide, separated from the coast by a narrow channel running through the swamp and two tiny mainland enclaves. It is very difficult to reach here so one has to travel through the town of UNA.

Sasangir Gir you touch the history of India before humanity itself. Before monuments, temples, mosques and palaces. Or rather, a history as humanity was emerging, when humans coexisted with lions, before the former had overrun the continent and the world and pushed the latter to the brink of extinction.
Many come to Gir because, outside of Africa, it is the only place with wild lions. But to truly experience Gir and the lions, you must explore their natural habitat, with everything from tiny wild birds, not easily seen, but heard singing in the forest canopy, to crocodiles floating in the marsh waters.

The city of Junagadh, along with Mt. Girnar that looks down upon it, appear in stories and hearsay from long ago, beginning with associations with Krishna during his life in Saurashtra. Reportedly, the main center of the city, the fort known as Uparkot, was built by Chandragupta of the Mauryan empire around 320 BC, and archaeological evidence confirms this, showing that Uparkot has been inhabited continuously since the 3rd century BC. Hence the name Junagadh, which means “ancient fort.” Under the Mauryans, Junagadh was a regional capital, and Emperor Ashoka had stone edicts placed there, still visible today.

Banny village visit – meet the Great Rann in the Khavda region, north of Bhuj. They are home to numerous pastoral nomadic, semi-nomadic and resident people who keep sheep, goats, camels, buffaloes and other livestock. The 40 or so hamlets here are best known for the minute detail of their embroidery. More recently, these villages have started focusing on selling handicrafts as their main source of income and there are signs of modernization and commercialization. The traditional bhungas circular huts with sloping thatched roofs are made from mud plastered with cow dung which are often decorated with hand-painted floral patterns and inlaid with mirrors during festivals. Traditional utensils are still used for cooking, eating and storage in the houses. The area is known for its raptors – eagles, vultures and other birds of prey.

Day 09 Bhuj – Jamnagar (By Road) (260 kms / 5 ½ Hours)

Jamnagar,The former name of city was NAWANAGAR is a city located on the western coast of India in the state of Gujarat in the Gulf of Kutch.It is the administrative headquarters of the Jamnagar District. The various tourist attractions in Jamnagar are the Lakhota Palace, Kotha Bastion, Bala Hanuman Temple, Jain Temples, Marine National Park, Khijadiya Bird Sanctuary and Ayurvedic University.

Dwarka – Worshiped as the 8th incarnation of the Hindu deity Vishnu, Krishna is believed to have been born sometime between 1500 and 700 BC in Mathura, just south of Delhi in the modern state of Uttar Pradesh. There Krishna killed the oppressive king Kansa, angering his father-in-law Jarasandh. Jarasandh attacked Krishna’s kingdom 17 times in a lengthy war as he tried to avenge the death of his son-in-law. The people of Mathura, the Yadavs, suffered heavy casualties. Krishna knew that his people would not be able to survive another war with Jarasandh, as the ongoing conflict was not only taking lives but also impacting trade and farming. So as to avert any further casualty, Krishna left the battle grounds and began to be known as Ranchhodji one who leaves the battle grounds.

The various tourist attractions in Ahmedabad are the Jama Masjid, Sidi Bashir Mosque, Sabarmati Ashram, Sidi Saiyad’s Mosque, Hathee Singh Temple and Jama Masjid was built in 1423 AD by Ahmad Shah and was also described as the most beautiful mosque in India.

The little Rann of Kutch – also spelled as Kuchchh is one of the best tourist places in India located near the Great Rann of Kutch in Kutch district of Gujarat state. It’s not only a UNESCO World Heritage Site Tentative List but also the home of world’s last refuge Wild Ass only found here and has been declared as the Indian Wild Ass Sanctuary. Due to the Biodiversity of the Rann, it is also a home to many bird species and it is one of India’s largest Bird Sanctuaries. The little rann of kutch serves as paradise for birdwatchers and bird photographers.

The beautiful city of Rajkot is located on the banks of the Aji River and Nyari River. Rajkot is well-known for its royal living. The city is also famous for its handicrafts and silver jewellery. It is the fourth largest city in Gujarat. Rajkot is a multicultural city and is a part of Kathiyawad and people of Rajkot are famous as Kathiyawadi’s.

Watson Museum – The Watson Museum and Library commemorates the work of Colonel John Watson, political agent from 1886 to 1889. It is a jumbled attic of the collection with the 3rd century inscriptions and a delicate ivory work overseen by a marble statue of Queen Victoria

Rashtriya Shala – Rashtriya Shala was founded by Mahatma Gandhi which has a center of patola weaving.

Jagat Mandir – Jagat Mandir is beautiful carved temple of Shri Ramkrishna Paramhansa. It is made of red stones.

Day 05 Rajkot – Gondal – Junagadh (By Road) (105 Kms. / 2.5 hrs. appx.)

Gondal is a city and a municipality in Rajkot district in the Indian state Gujarat. Gondal state was one of the eight first class princely states of Kathiawar.

Naulakha Palace – Is the oldest extant palace in Gondal, dating back to the 17th century. It has legendary stone carvings with exquisite “jharokhas” balconies, a fabulous pillared courtyard, delicately carved arches, and a unique spiral staircase. The large chandelier-lit “durbar” hall court house witnesses stuffed panthers, gilt wooden furniture, and antique mirrors. The Private palace museum displays an impressive display of silver caskets which were in the services of carrying messages and gifts for Maharajah Bhagwat Sinhji on his silver jubilee as ruler of Gondal.

Day 06 Junagadh – Somnath – Diu (By Road) (171 Kms. / 3.5 hrs. appx.)

Junagadh was the capital of the Junagadh state under the Muslim rulers of Babi Nawabs. In Gujarati, “Junagadh” means an ancient fort. The town of Junagadh takes its name from the fort that enclosed the medieval town.

Ashok Rock Edict – Ashoka’s Major Rock Edicts refer to 14 separate major Edicts of Ashoka. They are all inscribed on a rock located outside the town of Junagadh on the Saurashtra peninsula in the state of Gujarat.

Durbar Hall Museum – Durbar Hall Museum houses a large collection of silver chains, chandeliers, thrones, palanquins, weapons and armour from the days of the Nawabs. There is also a portrait gallery of the Nawabs. This museum was once the hall where the Nawabs held their Darbars assemblies.

Somnath Temple – The legendary shore temple of Somnath is located near Veraval and is about 80 kms from Junagadh. The Somnath temple is one of the twelve most sacred shrines dedicated to the Lord Shiva. The temple contains the jyotirlinga of Lord Shiva. This temple has a very long history. According to the legends, the Somnath temple is very old and was originally built in gold by the Somraj, the Moon God.

Day 07 Diu
Relax at beach and visit of Diu.

Diu is not a great choice for a beach-centric vacation. Most of its sandy strips are littered with trash, and the throngs of families make them better for people-watching than sun-worshipping. Diu town sits at the east end of the island. The northern side of the island, facing Gujarat, is tidal marsh and salt pans, while the southern coast alternates between limestone cliffs, rocky coves and sandy beaches.

Day 08 Diu – Palitana – Bhavnagar (By Road) (221 Kms. / 5 hrs. appx.)

Palitana is a sacred city of the Jains located about 215km. from Ahmedabad and 51 kms southwest of Bhavnagar. It was the capital of a small princely state founded by Shahji, a Gohel Rajput who belonged to the same clan as the Maharaja of Bhavnagar.

The Shatrunjaya Hill is located at a height of 591 metres. The Shatrunjaya Temple is the most sacred temple of the Jains and one of the largest of its kind in India. All the temples are enriched with gold, silver and jewels donated by rich merchants. According to local tradition, Adinatha, the first Jain Tirthankara, visited the hill several times and the first temple was erected by his son.

Bhavnagar is a city in the Indian state of Gujarat. It was founded in 1723 AD by Bhavsinhji Gohil1703-64 AD and was named after its founder and ruler.

Takhteshwar Temple – The Takhteshwar Temple is a historic temple, located on a small hill. This temple provides good views of the city and the Gulf of Cambay.

Gaurishankar Lake – Gaurishankar Lake is a very popular place for the evening stroll, picnic and bird watching. Ducks, geese, pelicans, cranes and other wading birds can be seen on the banks of this lake.

Barton Museum & Gandhi Smrit -Mahatma Gandhi which reminds of the Mahatma Gandhi as a student of Bhavnagar University. This museum also has a library that consists of the books and photographs of Mahatma Gandhi.

Day 09 Bhavnagar – Baroda (By Road) (194 Kms. / 4.5 hrs. appx.)

Vadodara is a graceful city of palaces, parks, temples and museums. It is also known as Baroda and is the industrial and cultural capital of Gujarat. Vadodara, originally ‘Vadapadraka’ means a village amidst the banyan trees. Baroda is called as the garden city of Gujarat.

Kadia Dungar Caves – Seven rock-cut caves and monolithic lion pillars are present at Kadia Dungar, near Bharuch. The caves suggest that they were viharas. A Brick stupa was also found in the foothills. These caves were in use during 1st and 2nd century AD.

Kayavarohan Temple -Kayavarohan is a village located in Vadodara. Kayavarohan is one of the sixty-eight ‘teerthas’ Pilgrimage of Lord Shiva as mentioned in the Shiva Purana. Lakshmi Vilas Palace -The Lakshmi Vilas Palace, an extravagant building of the Indo-Saracenic school, was built by Maharaja Sayajirao Gaekwad III in 1890 at a cost of GBP180,000. Major Charles Mant was the architect.
It is reputed to have been the largest private dwelling built in the nineteenth century and four times the size of Buckingham Palace. At the time of construction it boasted the most modern amenities such as elevators and the interior is reminiscent of a large European country house. It remains the residence of the Royal Family, who continues to be held in high esteem by the residents of Baroda.

Jain pilgrimages, is situated in Mahudi, Mehsana District, and spreads over an area of 2 square kilometers. In ancient times, the place was known as Madhumati. The idols and artistic remains recovered from the ground show that the history of this place is nearly 2000 years old, based on the inscriptions in Brahmi script. Acharyadev Buddhi Sagarsurisvarji was inspired in a dream to install the idol of Ghantakarna Mahavir Dev in 1923 A.D. This idol is considered to have miraculous powers. Thousands of Jain devotees, as well as devotees from other backgrounds, come to receive blessings from this idol.

Dakor in Kheda District of Gujarat is prominent for its grand temple of Shree Krishna which have a historical significance. An interesting legend relates how Lord Krishna came to reveal himself at Dakor Kaira District leaving his Dwarka abode. In olden times a Krishna devotee named Bholanath used to walk all the way to Dwarka from Dakor on every full moon night to worship his beloved Krishna.

Dakor, in its earlier phases as pilgrimage center in Gujarat, was famous for the Danknath temple, a place of shiva worship. In the later phases it developed into a Vaishnavite center with the growing fame of Ranchhodraiji temple, which was built in 1772 A.D. Today this place is known not only as a pilgrimage center but also a trading center where one can get the articles related to puja, and other rituals.

Day 05 Baroda – Pavagadh – Baroda  (By Road) (53 Km / 1.5 hrs – One Way)

Vadodara also known as Baroda formerly, is the third largest city in the Western Indian State of Gujarat, after Ahmedabad and Surat.

Laxmi Vilas Palace – The palace is faced in red Agra sandstone with dressings of blue trapstone from Pune and Rajasthani marble. The approach to the palace is very pleasant and the interior is spectacular. The Durbar Hall has walls and floor in Venetian mosaic and marble is used extensively throughout, as is stained glass from London.

Maharaja Fateh Singh Museum- The Maharaja Fateh Singh Museum contains some fine European paintings.

Tambekar Wada – The Tambekar Wada is a wooden multistoreyed townhouse. This typical Maratha mansion was once the residence of Bhau Tambekar, Diwan of Baroda. Inside are some beautiful 19th century murals.

Sayaji Bagh – Within this shady, pleasant park is the Baroda Museum, which houses some good Asian statues and carvings, mangy zoology exhibits and an Egyptian room. The gallery has lovely Mughal miniatures and a motley crew of European masters.

Nazar Bagh Palace – The Nazar Bagh Palace has a Sheesh Mahal Mirror Palace, a collection of the embroidered cloth and the jewel ‘Star of the south’. The solid gold and silver guns, each barrel 127 kgs. in weight were kept here which on ceremonial occasions, were drawn by the teams of milk-white bullocks.

Makarpura Palace – Makarpura Palace is situated about 7 kms. to the south of the city. This was built in an Italian Renaissance style and has a facade of three storeys each with an arcade running around beautiful gardens.

Naulakhi Well – The Naulakhi Well is a fine baoli, about 50 kms. to the north of the palace. It is a well preserved baoli step well which has galleried compartments or levels.

Pavagadh – the word Pavagadh means a quarter of the hill and was believed to have been part of the Himalaya carried off by the monkey god Hanuman. The Pavagadh Fort is situated 4 kms. southwest of the city. The Pavagadh fort dominates the syline and is visible for miles around. It occupies a large area and rises in three stages: first the ruined fort, then the palace and middle fort and finally the upper fort with Jain and Hindu temples. The parts of the massive walls still stand. The ascent is steep and passes several ruins including the Buria Darwaza, the Champavati Mahal, a three storey summer pavilion. The temple at the summit had its spires removed by Kali Temple, Pavagadh the Muslims and a shrine of Sadan Shah, a Muslim saint.

Day 06 Baroda – Delhi (By Flight)

The hall of public audiences, the hall of private audiences, the royal baths and Moti Masjid built by Aurangzeb for himself are important part of the immense fort. Jama Masjid: It is the largest mosque in India and the final architectural extravagance of Shanjahan. Raj Gath: The memorial of Mahatma Gandhi where he was cremated after his assassination.

Sightseeing of New Delhi starts from Lotus Temple – Bahai House of Worship, a white marble building built in great architechture with the fusion of old & new styles. It is a very peaceful place surrounded by nice graden; Qutab Minar: The building complex dates back to the onset of Muslim rule in India and are fine examples of Afghan architecture. Humayun’s Tomb: Built by wife of Humayun, the second Mughal king. It is an early example of Mughal architecture. India Gate: The 42m high stone “Arch of Triumph”, erected in the memory of Indian soldiers who died in the First World War; Drive through Rajpath “Kingsway” a VVIP area of Delhi including Rashtrapati Bhawan; Laxmi Narayan Temple: Garishly colored modern temple is erected by the industrialist Birla. This temple is dedicated to Laxmi – the goddess of wealth and Narayan – Lord Vishnu, husband of Laxmi.

Agra -Historians suggest Agra to be the Agravana in the epic Mahabharata. It is expected to be known as Agralapura during the medieval age. An archaeological fact pushes the existence of Agra back to three million years. The Lodhi dynasty ruled over Agra for a long time. It was in the onset of the sixteenth century that the Mughals took over the ruling of Agra from the hands of Lodhis.

Taj Mahal Shah Jahan the great emperor and a great builder constructed Taj Mahal in the loving memory of his beloved wife Anjuman Bano Begum. Shah Jahan met this beautiful girl in his young age and later gets married with her. Taj Mahal completed in 1653 A.D. finished in by white marble, it is perhaps India most fascinating and beautiful monument. Not only is it recognized in just India but also all over the world. These perfectly symmetrical monuments took 22 years 1630-1652 of hard labor and 20,000 workers.

Red Fort – The construction of the Agra fort was started around 1565 when the initial structures were built by Akbar. Shah Jahan replaced most of these with his marble creations. Some however survived, among them are – Delhi Gate., Amar Singh Gate, Akbari Mahal and the Jehangir Mahal. The fort is crescent shaped, flattened on the east with a long, nearly straight wall facing the river.

Dwaraka is located on the extreme western end of Kathiawar peninsula, where the River Gomti meets the Arabian Sea. The Sun Temple, Modhera, at Modhera in Gujarat, is a temple dedicated to the Hindu Sun-God, Surya. It is situated on the bank of the river Pushpavati, 25 km from Mehsana and 102 km from Ahmedabad.

Patan, an ancient fortified town, was founded in 745 AD by Vanraj Chavda, the most prominent king of the Chavda Kingdom. He named the city Anhilpur Patan or “Anhilwad Patan”. The little rann of Kutch – also spelled as Kuchchh is one of the best tourist places in India located near the Great Rann of Kutch in Kutch district of Gujarat state. It’s not only a UNESCO World Heritage Site Tentative List but also the home of world’s last refuge Wild Ass only found here and has been declared as the Indian Wild Ass Sanctuary. Due to the Biodiversity of the Rann, it is also a home to many bird species and it is one of India’s largest Bird Sanctuaries. Lal Pari Lake and Randerda -Lal Pari Lake and Randerda is a picturesque picnic spot, situated about 5 kms. from Rajkot.

Rashtriya Shala – Rashtriya Shala was founded by Mahatma Gandhi which has a center of patola weaving.

Gondal is a city and a municipality in Rajkot district in the Indian state Gujarat. Gondal state was one of the eight first class princely states of Kathiawar.

Naulakha Palace – Is the oldest extant palace in Gondal, dating back to the 17th century. It has legendary stone carvings with exquisite “jharokhas” balconies, a fabulous pillared courtyard, delicately carved arches, and a unique spiral staircase. The large chandelier-lit “durbar” hall court house witnesses stuffed panthers, gilt wooden furniture, and antique mirrors. The Private palace museum displays an impressive display of silver caskets which were in the services of carrying messages and gifts for Maharajah Bhagwat Sinhji on his silver jubilee as ruler of Gondal.

Sasan Gir Wildlife National Parks, Sanctuary – Sasan Gir National Park was established on 18th September, 1965, as a Forest Reserve, primarily to conserve the Asiatic lion-classified as one of the World’s most threatened species. Now Gir National Park is the only remaining place in the world, where one is likely to see the Asiatic Lion.

Somnath Temple – The legendary shore temple of Somnath is located near Veraval and is about 80 kms from Junagadh. The Somnath temple is one of the twelve most sacred shrines dedicated to the Lord Shiva. The temple contains the jyotirlinga of Lord Shiva. This temple has a very long history. According to the legends, the Somnath temple is very old and was originally built in gold by the Somraj, the Moon God.

Day 10 Diu
Full day enjoy the beach activity and day visit of Diu.

Diu is not a great choice for a beach-centric vacation. Most of its sandy strips are littered with trash, and the throngs of families make them better for people-watching than sun-worshipping. Diu town sits at the east end of the island. The northern side of the island, facing Gujarat, is tidal marsh and salt pans, while the southern coast alternates between limestone cliffs, rocky coves and sandy beaches.

Gaurishankar Lake – Gaurishankar Lake is a very popular place for the evening stroll, picnic and bird watching. Ducks, geese, pelicans, cranes and other wading birds can be seen on the banks of this lake.

Vadodara is a graceful city of palaces, parks, temples and museums. It is also known as Baroda and is the industrial and cultural capital of Gujarat. Vadodara, originally ‘Vadapadraka’ means a village amidst the banyan trees. Baroda is called as the garden city of Gujarat.

The Shatrunjaya Hill is located at a height of 591 metres. The Shatrunjaya Temple is the most sacred temple of the Jains and one of the largest of its kind in India. Shatrunjaya “place of victory against inner enemies” originally Pundarikgiri, also spelt Shetrunjaya are hills located by the city of Palitana, in Bhavnagar district, Gujarat, India. They are situated on the banks of the Shetrunji River at an elevation 164 feet 50 m above sea level. These hills have similarities to other hills where Jain temples have been built in Bihar, Gwalior, Mount Abu and Girnar.

Day 13 Baroda – Champaner – Chotta Udaipur – Baroda (228 Km/ 5 hrs)

Champaner -Is just such a place. Here you can find an old palace, fort, several mosques, but also walk the ancient streets just as its inhabitants did five centuries ago. Champaner was an out-of-the-way pilgrimage site for hundreds of years, became the capital of Gujarat, and was then abandoned to be overtaken by the jungle. The city is remarkably well-preserved, with Hindu and Jain temples a thousand years old, mosques from the time of the Gujarat Sultanate, Champaner became a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2004.

Chotta Udaipur- is it proximity to various hamlets of bhils, rathwas, Bhilalas and other tribes. Kadia Dungar Caves – Seven rock-cut caves and monolithic lion pillars are present at Kadia Dungar, near Bharuch. The caves suggest that they were viharas. A Brick stupa was also found in the foothills. These caves were in use during 1st and 2nd century AD.

Kayavarohan Temple -Kayavarohan is a village located in Vadodara. Kayavarohan is one of the sixty-eight ‘teerthas’ Pilgrimage of Lord Shiva as mentioned in the Shiva Purana. It is of great significance to the Pasupatas Followers of the Pashupati doctrine. There is a huge ocassion on Maha Shiv Ratri Festival.

Lehripura Gate – Built as the western gateway to the old city in 1558, Lehripura Gate is an impressive structure with beautiful arches.

Lakshmi Vilas Palace -The Lakshmi Vilas Palace, an extravagant building of the Indo-Saracenic school, was built by Maharaja Sayajirao Gaekwad III in 1890 at a cost of GBP180,000. Major Charles Mant was the architect.
It is reputed to have been the largest private dwelling built in the nineteenth century and four times the size of Buckingham Palace. At the time of construction it boasted the most modern amenities such as elevators and the interior is reminiscent of a large European country house. It remains the residence of the Royal Family, who continue to be held in high esteem by the residents of Baroda.

Ahmedabad, founded in the year 1411 AD is located on the banks of river Sabarmati. And has been named after Sultan Ahmed Shah, who was primarily responsible for building it. Though the capital of Gujarat was shifted from Ahmedabad to Gandhinagar, it is still the second largest industrial city in western India.

Morning: We proceed for a city tour of The old city of Ahmedabad is dotted with labyrinthine by lanes called ‘polls’. The exquisite carved wooden mansions and havelis are in no manner less than their stone counterparts in Rajasthan. We walk through theses narrow and fascinating lanes to see the local housing colonies including visit to Swaminarayan Temple, the Hateesing Jain temple, Juma Masjid, Rani Rupmati Masjid, Sidi Saiyed Masjid.

Afternoon: Proceed to visit with Gandhi Ashram/Museum & proceed to Sarkhej, which is south west of Ahmedabad & is noted for its elegant group of buildings, including the Mausoleum Of Azam & Mu`assam built in 1457 by the brothers responsible for Sarkhej`s architecture. The architecture is interesting because the style is almost purely Hindu, with little of the Saracenic influence so evident in Ahmedabad. We also visit the Tomb of Ahmad Khattu Ganj Buksh, a renowned Muslim saint & spiritual adviser to Ahmed Shah.

Evening We drive north to visit the Adalaj Vav, one of the finest of the Gujrati step-wells, with carvings depicting intricate motifs of flowers and birds. It was built by Queen Rudabai in 1499 and it provided a cool and secluded retreat during the hot summer months.

The Sun Temple, Modhera, at Modhera in Gujarat, is a temple dedicated to the Hindu Sun-God, Surya. It is situated on the bank of the river Pushpavati, 25 km from Mehsana and 102 km from Ahmedabad.

Darbargadh – is a heritage mansion built in Poshina in Sabarkantha in Gujarat. It is a huge mansion made of white marble polish.

Poshina Fort -stands on the Arravalli hills, at the confluence of two holy rivers, with views over the hills. There are ancient Jain and Siva temples nearby as well as tribal villages, where you can watch arrow making, basketwork, silversmiths and potters.

Bhuj, a flourishing walled city is the most important town in the Kutch area. Bhuj was the capital of the former state of Kutch and now it is the headquarters of the Kutch district. Bhuj was chosen by Rao Khengarji I as his capital in 1549.

Aina Mahal Palace – Built by Rao Lakhpatji in 1750 AD. Aina Mahal is a part of a large palace complex. It is a two storey building with Darbar Hall, hall of mirrors, and suites for royal family. In the 18th century, the Rao Lakhpatji sent a local craftsman Ramsingh Malam to Europe to perfect his skills in glassmaking, enamelling, tile making and iron founding. After he returned back, he constructed the Aina Mahal with the hall of mirrors of Venetian glass.

Pragmal Palace – Prag Mahal was constructed by Rao Pragmalji II 1838-76 AD. Rao Pragmalji appointed a famous architect, Colonel Henry Saint Wilkins to design Prag Mahal, who had earlier designed Deccan College, Sasoon Hospital, Ohel David Synagogue. Prag Mahal took about 10 years to get built at the cost of 20 lakh rupees.

Kachchh Museum – The Kutch Museum, formerly known as the Fergusson Museum, was founded by Maharao Khengarji III in 1877 AD. This museum was built by the state engineer Sir Ferguson, and thus named after him. This museum remained a private exhibit for the Maharaos till independence and was renamed as the Kutch Museum.

Dandi -Dandi is situated about 13 kms. from Navsari. Dandi is the main place for the Gandhi’s Salt March in 1930.

Colonial Tombs -The colonial tombs here dates from the 15th to the 18th centuries. The most magnificent is the 17th century memorial to Baron Adrian Van Reed, a local Dutch company Director.

Castle – The castle was built in 1546 alongside the Tapti Bridge and now full of offices. The castle provides good views of the city and surrounding countryside from its bastions.

Nau Saiyid Mosque -The Nau Saiyid Mosque mosque of Nine Saiyids is situated on the west banks of the Gopi Lake.

Udvada – Udvada is situated about 10 kms. north of Vapi, the station for Daman. Udvada has India’s oldest Parsi sacred fire. It is said to have been brought from Persia to Diu, on the opposite coast of the Gulf of Cambay, in 700 AD.

Mirza Sami Mosque – The Mirza Sami Mosque was built by the Khudawanad Khan who was also responsible for the castle.

Nau Saiyid Mosque – The Nau Saiyid Mosque mosque of Nine Saiyids is situated on the west banks of the Gopi Lake.

Day 12 Surat – Saputara (By Road) (160 Kms. / 3.5 hrs. appx.)

Gujarat’s picturesque hill station is perched on a plateau in the Dang forest area of the Sahyadari Range. At an altitude of about 1000m. It has a cool bracing climate, the highest temprature even in the summer months not exceeding 28 Degree C.

Botanical Garden -The Botanical garden 49 kms. from Saputara is a large 24-hectare garden with 1,400 varieties of plant from all over India. The amateur nature lover can marvel at different varieties of bamboo like the Chinese Bamboo, Golden Bamboo, and Beer Bottle Bamboo etc. and enjoy strolling along the beautiful walkways each lined with different species of tree.

Gira waterfalls -The Gira waterfalls 49 kms. from Saputara is located off the Saputara-Waghai road which emerges from the Kapri tributary. It is a breathtakingly beautiful view around monsoon. Saptashringi Devi Mandir Vani -The Saptashringi Devi Mandir Vani 50 kms. from Saputara is that of one of the sisters of Goddess Kali. Sapta means seven and shring means pinnacle and therefore Saptashringi means the mountain having seven peaks. Dang Darbar – The Dang Darbar 40 kms. from Saputara is an annual colourful tribal festival held prior to Holi generally March / April, at Ahwa. It’s a five day fun filled colourful affair where the tribals congregate to celebrate an old custom of political pensions given to the tribal kings. There is merry making dance, music, colour and brisk buying and selling of tribal wares.

Unnai Mata Temple & Hot Spring – The Unnai Mata Temple & Hot Spring 68 kms. from Saputara is located near Waghai. Visitors can bath in the hot spring attached to this famous temple which is said to be providing cure effect of chronic health illness.

Vansda National park -The Vansda National park was originally a private forest of maharaja of Vansada. It is now a park which covers an area of 24 km². Despite its small size the park harbours tiger, leopard, pangolin, rusty-spotted cat, python, giant squirrel, four-horned antelope etc. Prior permission from the Chief Wildlife Warden, of Gandhinagar or DFO, Ahwa, is required before visiting the park.

Girmal Falls -The Girmal Falls 85 kms. from Saputara is easily the most marvelous sight during the monsoon, the Girmal Fall is a little off the Mahal Singana Road. The approach leads via tribal village to steep fall on the Gira River. The facing hill side is a rich with rare flora and is worth exploring by the more adventurous trekkers.

Tithal – Tithal, 130 km away in Valsad district, is a beautiful sandy beach with tall shady palms lining the entire beach. The seawater here is pure and placid, making summer the most pleasant time to visit. Tithal is 195 km from Mumbai, 66 km from Navsari, 108 km from Surat and 5 km from Valsad.

Consisting of gorgeous arched gates, Teen Darwaza is one of the longest as well as the oldest gateways of the Ahmedabad city. It was established in the year 141 A.D. by Sultan Ahmed Shah, who founded the city of Ahmedabad.

Jhulta Minar – Ahmedabad is well known for its swaying minarets, more commonly known as Jhulta Minar. A classic example of superb craftsmanship, Jhulta Minar is actually a part of the mosque Siddi Bashir. Gondal is a city and a municipality in Rajkot district in the Indian state Gujarat. Gondal state was one of the eight first class princely states of Kathiawar.

Naulakha Palace – Is the oldest extant palace in Gondal, dating back to the 17th century. It has legendary stone carvings with exquisite “jharokhas” balconies, a fabulous pillared courtyard, delicately carved arches, and a unique spiral staircase. The large chandelier-lit “durbar” hall court house witnesses stuffed panthers, gilt wooden furniture, and antique mirrors. The Private palace museum displays an impressive display of silver caskets which were in the services of carrying messages and gifts for Maharajah Bhagwat Sinhji on his silver jubilee as ruler of Gondal.

The “Samadhi” of Shri Jalaram Bapa is on the feet of God Shri Ram Chandra. This is by the enterance, just on the Left side of the Big Gate of the “Dela”. The “JHOLI-DANDA” is kept in the Transparent Cup-board and Shri Hanumanji’s Idol is also Placed near the Samadhi. There are three GIANT COPPER POTS in the Temple which was given by “GANGA MAIYA” filled with the “PAVITRA JAL” of Ganga, yamuna and sarawati rivers. The water from these pots never get empty. Moreover no one had suffered from any disease after drinking this “JAL”. There are also pair of large wheels for grinding the wheat in the Temple given by the king of the Dhrangdhra to Shri Jalaram Bapa.

Junagadh was the capital of the Junagadh state under the Muslim rulers of Babi Nawabs. In Gujarati, “Junagadh” means an ancient fort. The town of Junagadh takes its name from the fort that enclosed the medieval town.
Ashok Rock Edict – Ashoka’s Major Rock Edicts refer to 14 separate major Edicts of Ashoka. They are all inscribed on a rock located outside the town of Junagadh on the Saurashtra peninsula in the state of Gujarat.

Durbar Hall Museum – Durbar Hall Museum houses a large collection of silver chains, chandeliers, thrones, palanquins, weapons and armour from the days of the Nawabs. There is also a portrait gallery of the Nawabs. This museum was once the hall where the Nawabs held their Darbars assemblies.

Somnath Temple – The legendary shore temple of Somnath is located near Veraval and is about 80 kms from Junagadh. The Somnath temple is one of the twelve most sacred shrines dedicated to the Lord Shiva. The temple contains the jyotirlinga of Lord Shiva. This temple has a very long history. According to the legends, the Somnath temple is very old and was originally built in gold by the Somraj, the Moon God.

Dwaraka is located on the extreme western end of Kathiawar peninsula, where the River Gomti meets the Arabian Sea. Dwaraka is one of the four most important holy places of the Hindus and attracts tourists from all over the world. The Lord Krishna also established his capital at Dwaraka after he left Mathura. The importance, foundation, planning and glory of Dwaraka as the golden city is described in various Hindu epics like Mahabharata, Harivamsha, Sijupdlavadha, Bhagvad Gita, Skand Purana, Vishnu Purana and Mahabharat. The architecture of the old Dwaraka city was majestic and wonderful.

Beyt Dwaraka -A pilgrimage to Dwaraka is not complete until a visit has been made to the Beyt Dwaraka. It is a Hindu temple on the island off the coast. The temple dates from the 19th century and contains a series of shrines and images of Krishna and his 56 consorts. The archaeological excavations have revealed Harappan artifacts dating from the 2nd millennium BC.

Okha -Okha is a small port at the head of the Gulf of Kutch and is about 30 kms north of Dwaraka. The island nearby is connected with the legend of Vishnu slaying the demon.

Calico Museum of Textiles is widely regarded as one of the finest textiles museums in the world. This museum was started in Calico Textile Mill. The museum is housed inside one of Gujarat’s famous carved wooden haveli in Shahi Bagh Gardens. This museum was inaugurated by Pandit Nehru in 1948, and is now managed by the Sarabhai foundation. Calico Museum of Textiles has excellent collection of antique and modern textiles including heavy brocades, fine embroideries, sarees, carpets, turbans, rare tapestries, wall hangings, Maharaja’s costumes, old weaving machines and royal Mughal tents. Lothal is situated about 85 kms. southwest of Ahmedabad. This important archaeological site was discovered in 1954. Palitana is a sacred city of the Jains located about 215km. from Ahmedabad and 51 kms southwest of Bhavnagar. It was the capital of a small princely state founded by Shahji, a Gohel Rajput who belonged to the same clan as the Maharaja of Bhavnagar.

The Shatrunjaya Hill is located at a height of 591 metres. The Shatrunjaya Temple is the most sacred temple of the Jains and one of the largest of its kind in India. All the temples are enriched with gold, silver and jewels donated by rich merchants. According to local tradition, Adinatha, the first Jain Tirthankara, visited the hill several times and the first temple was erected by his son.

Daman and Diu are the two tiny union territories which were the Portuguese enclaves. Geographically, Daman and Diu are the part of the state of Gujarat and connected to the mainland of Gujarat by a causeway. Diu is a tiny island in the Arabian Sea, about 11 kms. long and 3 kms. wide, separated from the coast by a narrow channel running through the swamp and two tiny mainland enclaves.

Day 02 Ahmedabad
After Breakfast proceed for Halfday visit to Calico Museum to see various collection of Textile Weaving and traditional part from varies city’s from Gujarat Wednesday and all Public Holidays are closed.

Afternoon our transport will be with you for a shopping and bazaar visit.
Return to the hotel for Overnight

Calico Museum of Textiles is widely regarded as one of the finest textiles museums in the world. This museum was started in Calico Textile Mill. The museum is housed inside one of Gujarat’s famous carved wooden haveli in Shahi Bagh Gardens. This museum was inaugurated by Pandit Nehru in 1948, and is now managed by the Sarabhai foundation. Calico Museum of Textiles has excellent collection of antique and modern textiles including heavy brocades, fine embroideries, sarees, carpets, turbans, rare tapestries, wall hangings, Maharaja’s costumes, old weaving machines and royal Mughal tents. It also houses an excellent collection of Jain manuscripts.

Day 03 Ahmedabad – Poshina (By Road) (180 Kms. / 4 hrs. appx.)
After breakfast drive to Poshina, The tribal land in Arravallis one can see various tribal and traditional colorful people in the village visit.
Overnight at Poshina.

From Ambaji in Sabarkantha district, Poshina takes one back to the simple beauty of traditional village life, populated by a captivating mélange of colorful tribal communities of the Garasias, Bhils and the pastoral Rabaris. Poshina is home to a tribal shrine where you find the staggering scene of thousands of terracotta horses standing in rows as offerings to the local goddess. Nearby villages have similar horses carved in reverence to her divinity. A visit to the homes of the potters who make these striking horses is an excellent glimpse into tribal culture.

Day 04 Poshina
After breakfast proceed for Ambaji Temple visit which is 29 Kms drive one-way.
Later afternoon halfday visit to the tribal villages & walk tour to the villages.
Evening return to the Darbargadh.

Ambaji is an important temple town with millions of devotees visiting the Ambaji temple every year. It is one of the 51 Shaktipeeths. The full moon of Bhadrapad is one of the four most important festival days of the year, when farmers and agriculturists come to Ambaji.

Day 05 Poshina – Balaram (By Road) (79 Kms / 1.5 hrs appx.)
After breakfast drive to Balaram with the visit of Modhera Sun Temple and Patan.
Evening arrival at the Palace of Balaram, your nature home resort.
Rest of the day leisure. Overnight at Balaram.

Sun temple is situated on a knoll in Modhera, This temple is one of the finest Hindu temples in Gujarat, built by the great Solanki dynasty. This temple and the Konark Sun temple in Orissa are very similar.

Patan was founded by the Vanraj Chavda in 746 AD. It enjoyed a privileged status of capital of Gujarat, for about 600 years from 746 AD to 1411 AD. In the 8th century, Patan under the name of Anahilvada, was the capital of the Hindu kings of Gujarat.

The major Rajput clans of Chavadas, Solankis and Vaghelas ruled Gujarat from Patan. The glory of Patan reached its highest point during the Solanki period. During this period, the city was a great place of learning and a prosperous trading center. The rulers were great patrons of fine arts and architecture and thus constructed various religious and historical places in the city

Day 06 Balaram
After Breakfast.
Morning leisure at the hotel and later evening proceed for the villages visit of Balaram and nearby. Return to the hotel for overnight.

Balaram is a holy place with considerable importance as a Hindu pilgrimage. Among the many temples here are the Gaumukh, with a natural stream flowing from the mouth of a cow.
Situated in scenic forest areas, Balaram is an ideal spot for a day picnic from Ahmedabad. A river flows through the region and the mountains rise in beautiful formations on every side. There are some pretty plantations here.

Day 07 Balaram – Balasinor (By Road) (265 Kms. / 4.5 hrs. appx.)
After Breakfast Drive to Balasinor, on arrival check in the Garden Palace.
Later Evening visit the Lash green villages with walk through the town to see beautiful carved Mausoleum homes.
Overnight at Balasinor.

Situated in the Kheda district of the West Indian state of Gujarat, Balasinor is a small town. Also known as Vadasinor, it was established during the 18th century. To be precise, this former princely state of Nawab Babi or Yusufzai Pathan Dynasty, was created on 28th September, 1758 from the Babis of Junagadh.

The Garden Palace -The extremely beautiful Garden Palace, built in 1883 by Nawab Saheb Manover Khanji Babi, is known for its well-manicured gardens and is also a well-known tourist attraction

Close to the Garden Palace is the Wanakbori Dam, which is created on the Mahi river. This place is quite popular amongst picnickers, locals or tourists. The dam site offers a panoramic view of the reservoir, mainly during the monsoon season.

The natural hot water sulphur springs of Timba Tuva is not a popular place of interest for the tourists but is also believed to have medicinal properties. It is said that that waters of this natural spring can miraculously cure rheumatism and arthritis.

Galteshwar is the site that houses an old temple, which is dedicated to Lord Shiva.

Day 08 Balasinor – Baroda (By Road) (110 Kms. / 2.5 hrs. appx.)
After Breakfast drive to Baroda.
On way visit the Dinosaur Fossils Excavation Sit 22 Kms Considered to be one of the third largest site in the World.
Overnight in Baroda.

Raioli near Balasinor is one of the most important dinosaur sites in Asia. The fossilized bones of the Rajasauras Narmadensis, a dinosaur with an unusual head crest, were discovered here. Rayoli is famous for the findings of the Rajasaurus Dinosaur – the regal dinosaur from the Narmada. It was 30 feet long and 9 feet high and weighed around 3-4 tonnes. The Raioli Dinosaur Site was first discovered in 1981 & the fossils at the Raioli Site are more than 65 million years old. The park also has an interpretation center for dinosaur fossil park. Fossils can be seen on the rocks of the park. It is also said to be World’s 3rd largest Dinosaur Fossil Site.

Day 09 Baroda – Ahmedabad (By Road) (114 Km/ 2.5 hrs) / Dep. Ahmedabad
In the morning after breakfast, drive to Ahmedabad.
On arrival, transfer to airport for flight back home.
