After breakfast, city tour of New Delhi where ornate buildings recall the days when India was the Jewel in the crown of the British empire . Day 03 Delhi – Jaipur (By Road) (250 Kms. / 4H 50M appx.)
After breakfast drive to Jaipur.
Upon arrival check in at hotel . After a short Rest proceed to visit City Palace , still home to the Maharaja although several of the rooms are now open to the public. Day 04 Jaipur
Morning after breakfast city tour of Jaipur visiting Amber Fort Situated atop a hill overlooking the city, was the old capital before Jaipur was built. The Palace is laid out at different levels on the hillside and surrounded by a fortress. A ride on a decorated elephant to ascend the hill to the Palace is a thrilling experience for every visitor where a ride on the elephant is highlight of the tour. After lunch visit the Pink city because of the pink colour of the buildings, is picturesquely situated in the heart of Rajasthan surrounded on all sides except on the south by rugged hills crowned with medieval fortresses. Visit the Mubarak Hall, Chandra Mahal and Pothikhana which house a rare collection of paintings and manuscripts as well as the museum of Arms and Armoury. Also visit Jantar Mantar – Jai Singh’s observatory and the Hawa Mahal or Palace of Winds.Overnight at hotel .

Day 05 Jaipur – Abhaneri/Fatehpur Sikri – Agra (By Road) (256 Kms / 5.5 hrs)
After breakfast continue drive towards to Agra enroute visiting the Deserted city of Fatehpur Sikri , Fatehpur Sikri – Twenty seven miles from Agra , Akbar’s Capital where phantoms of ancient pomp and splendour fill a deserted city, silent witnesses to a vanished dream. The capital had to be abandoned by the emperor for lack of adequate water supply. The marble tomb of the Saint ‘Salim Chisti’ and the Bulland Durwaza, the highest gateway in the world, are some of the highlights of the place. Overnight at hotel .

Day 06 Agra
Morning at sunrise visit the world famous Taj Mahal, built by the Mughal Emperor Shahjehan in 1630 for his queen Mumtaz Mahal to enshrine her mortal remains, Also visit the Agra Fort, containing the Pearl Mosque – the rusty and majestic red – sandstone fort of Agra stands on the banks of the river Yamuna and the construction was started by Emperor Akbar in 1566. At the Diwan – I – Khas (hall of private audience) where marble pavilions with floral inlays lend an ethereal ambience, the Emperor sat on his gem – studded peacock Throne and met foreign ambassadors and rulers of friendly kingdoms. Day 11 Varanasi – Mumbai (By Flight)
Early morning boat ride on the holy river Ganges to view the religious activity at the bathing Ghats for an insight into the cultural background of India . It provides an absorbing spectacle of thousands of Hindus engaged in their ritual bathing. Later excursion to Sarnath, 10kms. East of Varanasi, is one of the Buddhism’s major centers of India . After attaining enlightenment, the Buddha came to Sarnath where he gave his first sermon. These 34 monasteries and temples, extending over more than 2 km, were dug side by side in the wall of a high basalt cliff, not far from Aurangabad, in Maharashtra. The first Buddhist cave monuments at Ajanta date from the 2nd and 1st centuries B.C. Day 19 Trichy – Tanjore (By Road) (58 Kms. / 1H 10M appx.)
After breakfast drive to Tanjore. Afternoon sightseeing of Tanjore. Also called a city of temples, Tanjore is dotted with no fewer than 74 temples – the most famous of which is the Brihadeshwara temple. Visit this fascinating temple and the Thanjavur Palace.

Tanjore is once the capital of the Cholas, a powerful dynasty of the kings who ruled from the 10th to the 14th Centuries A.D. is to this day, a well known center of classical art and literature. Also visit the Saraswathi Mahal Library containing rare collections of ancient books and manuscripts in various languages on various subjects.

Matrimandir the famous monument is constructed by the Auroville Society which represent the flower Lotus. Also visit 400 years old Manakula Vinayagar Temple which has several fresco paintings on the walls telling the life story of half human and half animal lord. You shall also visit Sri Aurobindo Ashram named after Sri Aurobindo, who was a National Leader, famous for his integral Yoga and philosophical literary works. Day 21 Pondicherry – Mahabalipruram  (By Road) (97 Kms. / 2H 10M)
After breakfast drive to Mahabalipuram (100 kms/3 hrs). Afternoon brings you to the shore temples lashed by the sea. This is one of the early temples to be constructed in this area. The “Five Rathas”, a group of monolithic monuments and animal figures carved out of solid rock – aare almost like an artist’s experiment in variety of form. Later on relax on the beach.

Day 22 Mahabalipuram – Kanchipuram – Chennai (142 Km/ 2H 50M)
Morning excursion to Kanchipuram & Mahabalipuram. Kanchipuram known as the Golden City of a Thousand Temples, is one of the oldest towns in India . It is famous for both its temples, many of them remarkably well preserved and for its hand – woven silks. Kanchipuram is one of the seven sacred cities of India and it is the only one associated with both Shiva and Vishnu. Visit Ekambareshwar Temple , Kailashnath Temple , Kamakshi Temple , the Vaikunthaperumal Temple , all built in the 7th and 8th centuries. With a weaving tradition dating back to the Pallava era (when silk was the royal cloth), Kanchipuram is justly famous for its particularly fine silk saris, embellished with stunning patterns. Visit the local homes of the weavers and watch them create magic out of silk thread into saris.

Mahabalipuram is a small, quiet seaside resort with a unique 7th century Shore Temple , a lovely beach and some of the most beautiful rock cut temples in the world. Situated on the shore of the Bay of Bengal , Mahabalipuram was already a famous seaport in the 1st century AD. This, town was a workshop for temple building. Visit the seven pagoda style shore temples, lashed by the waves of the sea and the seven rathas or temple chariots, a group of monolithic monuments & animal figures carved out of solid rock, the earliest known examples of Dravidian architecture. They were constructed in a single century long burst of creative enthusiasm, starting in the reign of Narasimhavarman 1 (AD 63068). Fatehpur Sikri is a small city in northern India, just west of Agra, founded by a 16th-century Mughal emperor. Red sandstone buildings cluster at its center. Buland Darwaza gate is the entrance to Jama Masjid mosque. Nearby is the marble Tomb of Salim Chishti. Diwan-E-Khas hall has a carved central pillar. Jodha Bais Palace is a mix of Hindu and Mughal styles, next to the 5-story Panch Mahal that overlooks the site.

Abhaneri, also spelled Abaneri, is a village in the Dausa district of the Indian state of Rajasthan. Abhaneri is popular for the Chand Baori step well and Harshat Mata Temple.

Day 05 Jaipur
Breakfast. In the morning, excursion to Amber Fort. Ascent to the fort on elephant back (subject to availability) or by jeep if elephants are not available. In the afternoon, visit of the city: City Palace. Stop to take photos at the Palacio de los Vientos. Visit of the Astronomical Observatory, and finally you will attend a Hindu religious ceremony at the Birla temple.

Jaipur is the capital of India’s Rajasthan state. It evokes the royal family that once ruled the region and that, in 1727, founded what is now called the Old City, or “Pink City” for its trademark building color. Day 06 Jaipur – Pushkar (By Road) (130 Kms. / 3H 10M appx.)
Breakfast. drive towards Pushkar where the only temple of the god Brahma is located. Arrival and visit the temple and the city of Pushkar.

Pushkar is a town bordering the Thar Desert, in the northeastern Indian state of Rajasthan. It’s set on Pushkar Lake, a sacred Hindu site with 52 ghats (stone staircases) where pilgrims bathe. The town has hundreds of temples, including 14th-century Jagatpita Brahma Mandir, dedicated to the god of creation, which has a distinctive red spire and walls inlaid with pilgrims’ silver coins.

Breakfast, we visit the Sacred Temple and Pushkar Lake and pass the market. Continue driving from Mandawa, the “Heritage Villa”. In the afternoon, we will visit Mandawa village.

After breakfast, early morning relaxation. Outside look at the Red Fort built in the 17th century and visit the Jama Masjid mosque, the largest mosque on the Indian subcontinent. TouDays in the old town, a walk through the maze of alleys to the bustling bazaar of Chandni Chowk will be your opportunity to take the pulse of these neighborhoods that never sleep.

At the eastern end of Chandni Chowk is the Digambara Jain Temple, whose small marble courtyard is surrounded by a beautiful colonnade. It is the refuge of the birds of the city, which even have their hospital there!

In the afternoon, enjoy the freshness of the parks in the new Delhi of Lutyens, a garden city with vast avenues lined with huge trees.

Not far from there, the very elegant Lodi Garden, which houses the tombs of the Sayyid and Lodi dynasties from the 15th and 16th centuries, invites you to stroll in the shade of its hundred-year-old trees.

Further south, the Qutub Minar complex, dominated by the monumental tower built in the 13th century to mark the arrival of Muslims in Delhi. The whole, unfinished and today almost entirely in ruins, presents an interesting amalgam of Persian art and Hindu influences.

Visit the Taj Mahal, a luminous white marble mausoleum built by the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan to immortalize his love for his wife Mumtaz, closed on Friday. After 3 years of work, the renovation of the main facade of the Taj Mahal and its four minarets is magnificently completed.

Day 05 Agra – Fatehpur Sikri – Ranthambore (By Road) (240 Km / 5H 45M)
After breakfast, On the way from Ranthambore, stop at Fatehpur Sikri which was one of the capitals of the Mughal emperor Akbar. A UNESCO World Heritage Site, its red sandstone palaces combine Indian architecture with those of Iran and Central Asia.

In the early afternoon, express train to Sawai Madhopur and continuation by road to Ranthambore. Ranthambore Park is closed from July to September.

Day 06 Ranthambore
After breakfast, the national park covers 411 km². It is in these magnificent landscapes, where lakes and rivers alternate, that an ambitious project of reintroduction and protection of the tiger was carried out.

If you don’t have the chance to spot tigers, many other animals are visible: hyenas, bears, deer, crocodiles and more than 250 species of birds. Safaris in the reserve early in the morning and at the end of the afternoon with a naturalist guide depending on the number of visitors present, the visit can be carried out in a private jeep or vehicle for ten to fifteen people.

After going through Migrations, one of our representatives will be waiting for you to welcome you and deliver a package with all the necessary documents, will also arrange your transportation to the hotel and assist you at check-in. There will be no activities on the first day, because most international flights arrive in India around midnight.

Day 02 Delhi
After breakfast, proceed on a tour of Old and New Delhi. The 17th century tour of the old city includes the famous Jama Masjid mosque, the main avenue of Old Delhi where there is a colorful market called Chandni Chowk Moonlight Avenue.

They will also visit the Red Fort, one of the most famous architectural works of the Mogols, built by the Mogol emperor, Shah Jahan, between 1638 and 1648, passing Raj Ghat, the site of the cremation of Mahatma Gandi. Assistance and transfer to hotel. Delhi – the capital of India, is a fascinating city with complexities and contradictions, beauty and dynamism, where the past co-exists with the present. Many dynasties ruled from here and the city is rich in the architecture of its monuments. Delhi is not only the present metropolis of India but also a Necropolis. Because of its location, being on the banks of the River Yamuna, many cities have risen and fallen over the last five millenniums.

If time permits, proceed on a sightseeing tour of New Delhi. Visit the Qutub Minar, a Tower of Victory which was built in the 12th century by Qutbuddin Aibak. Within its spacious courtyard stands the Iron Pillar, which dates back to the 4th century AD and bears a Sanskrit inscription in the Gupta style. The pillar has puzzled scientists, as its iron has not rusted in all these centuries.

The Tomb of Humayun – the magnificent structure in red sandstone and white marble is one of the finest examples of the garden tomb, and a precursor to the Taj Mahal. Its proportionate spaces, double dome and refined elegance are characteristic of Mughal architecture. Drive past to India Gate, the memorial of the First World War and the road that leads from there to Rashtrapathi Bhawan – the residence of the President of India, which is flanked by the houses of Parliament and the Government Secretariat buildings.

After breakfast take a tantalizing tour of Old Delhi, with delights such as the Parathewali Gali-a whole street lined with shops specializing only in Parathas, a special flat bread which is stuffed with all kinds of vegetables, cheeses, spices and everything else the chefs fancy! Watch them create master pieces using exotic flours, spices, vegetables and other ingredients.

These simple melt-in-your-mouth delicacies will leave you craving for more long after you return home. We continue our quest, still in Old Delhi and on to on to the famous bazaar- Chandni Chowk-bustling with commerce and enterprise. Spices are the specialty of Khari Baoli (Asia’s largest Spice Market), so be prepared to be assaulted by exotic smalls and fragrances. Very near the Red Fort is the Jama Masjid, India’s largest mosque, also built by Shah Jahan.

Take an interesting rickshaw ride through the famous bazaars of Chandni Chowk, which is adjacent to both the Fort and the Mosque. Also visit Raj Ghat – the memorial to Mahatma Gandhi. Lunch at Chore Bizarre Easily India’s finest theme restaurant. People can’t quite decide how to define Chor Bizarre – ‘A pirate’s galley’, ‘An attic’, ‘Really clever’ and ‘Quirky’ usually rule the roost. Mandawa is a town in Jhunjhunu district of Rajasthan in India. It is part of Shekhawati region. Mandawa is known for its fort and havelis. Mandawa provides the visitors with a sense of discovery at every turn; battlements that offer spectacular views of the town below, a whimsical peacock weather van, and an arched window that overlooks the verdant garden visited by peacocks. Most importantly, the fact that no two rooms are alike in the palace here. In the zenana or women’s quarters, one room offers antique murals, another has a marble fountain, and the turret room boasts of walls that are seven feet thick. Looking out from the window of the turret room, it is easy to imagine the marauding bandits that once roamed freely here. Little wonder then that the family crest contains the motto, ‘Veer Bhogya Vasundhara’, which translates into ‘the brave shall inherit the earth’.

Founded in the 18th century, the medieval fort of Mandawa dominates the town with a painted arched gateway adorned with Lord Krishna and his cows. The Chokhani and Ladia havelis and the street with Saraf havelis are some of the splendid examples of this region’s havelis.

The Binsidhar Newatia Haveli has some curious paintings on its outer eastern wall-a boy using a telephone, and a European woman in a car driven by a chauffeur. The Gulab Rai Ladia Haveli has some defaced erotic images.

Fatehpur Sikri is an exquisite city built by Akbar the Great in 1569, in red sandstone. It’s forts, palaces and mosques was abandoned 14 years after its creation due to political reasons.

The Diwane-i-Am – a vast courtyard in which the emperor gave daily public audience; Diwane-i-Khas – a large quadrangle which contained all the major functions of the Palace, Pachisi court, the Emperors private living quarter, Jodha Bhai’s Palace, Mariam’s Palace, Birbal’s Palace, Hawa Mahal and Panch Mahal are some of the important buildings of this residential complex. The Friday Mosque and the exquisite tomb of Sheik Salim Chisti are in the religious grounds set aside in a separate enclosure adjacent to the secular buildings.

Bharatpur is an Indian city in eastern Rajasthan. At its center is the 18th-century Lohagarh Fort, surrounded by a moat. South of the city, Keoladeo National Park is a major bird sanctuary with hundreds of species.

Today you will arrive at Indira Gandhi international airport, meet and greet by our representative.

Assistance and transfer to hotel. Delhi – the capital of India, is a fascinating city with complexities and contradictions, beauty and dynamism, where the past co-exists with the present. Many dynasties ruled from here and the city is rich in the architecture of its monuments. Delhi is not only the present metropolis of India but also a Necropolis. Because of its location, being on the banks of the River Yamuna, many cities have risen and fallen over the last five millenniums.

If time permits, proceed on a sightseeing tour of New Delhi. Visit the Qutub Minar, a Tower of Victory which was built in the 12th century by Qutbuddin Aibak. Within its spacious courtyard stands the Iron Pillar, which dates back to the 4th century AD and bears a Sanskrit inscription in the Gupta style. The pillar has puzzled scientists, as its iron has not rusted in all these centuries.

The Tomb of Humayun – the magnificent structure in red sandstone and white marble is one of the finest examples of the garden tomb, and a precursor to the Taj Mahal. Its proportionate spaces, double dome and refined elegance are characteristic of Mughal architecture. Drive past to India Gate, the memorial of the First World War and the road that leads from there to Rashtrapathi Bhawan – the residence of the President of India, which is flanked by the houses of Parliament and the Government Secretariat buildings.

Day 02 Delhi
After breakfast take a tantalizing tour of Old Delhi, with delights such as the Parathewali Gali-a whole street lined with shops specializing only in Parathas, a special flat bread which is stuffed with all kinds of vegetables, cheeses, spices and everything else the chefs fancy! Watch them create master pieces using exotic flours, spices, vegetables and other ingredients.

These simple melt-in-your-mouth delicacies will leave you craving for more long after you return home. We continue our quest, still in Old Delhi and on to on to the famous bazaar- Chandni Chowk-bustling with commerce and enterprise. Spices are the specialty of Khari Baoli (Asia’s largest Spice Market), so be prepared to be assaulted by exotic smalls and fragrances. Very near the Red Fort is the Jama Masjid, India’s largest mosque, also built by Shah Jahan.

Take an interesting rickshaw ride through the famous bazaars of Chandni Chowk, which is adjacent to both the Fort and the Mosque. Also visit Raj Ghat – the memorial to Mahatma Gandhi. Lunch at Chore Bizarre Easily India’s finest theme restaurant. People can’t quite decide how to define Chor Bizarre – ‘A pirate’s galley’, ‘An attic’, ‘Really clever’ and ‘Quirky’ usually rule the roost. Rightly so – ‘Chor’ means thief and ‘bizarre’ means totally bizarre!

Day 03 Delhi – Jaipur (By Road) (250 Kms. / 4.5H appx.)
After breakfast, city tour of Mandawa.
Later, drive to Jaipur.

Jaipur – the capital of Rajasthan is color washed pink – the color associated with hospitality in Rajput culture. This Pink City of fairy tale palaces, rugged fortresses perched on barren hills and broad avenues are picturesque. The first planned city of its time, a formidable wall encircles Jaipur. Day 04 Jaipur
Morning: Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel; later proceed for the excursion to Amber Fort, here you will enjoy the Elephant Ride to reach atop of the palace. This journey on embellished elephants is bound to enrich your memories with the Royal lifestyle of the Maharajas and leave you with a truly unforgettable experience.

Inside the Fort visit the Hall of Victory or Jag Mandir – is the famed Sheesh Mahal- a room with all the four walls and ceiling completely embedded with glittering mirror pieces, which were specially imported from Belgium during that period. Continue your journey: with the city tour of Jaipur – visiting Maharaja’s City Palace, the former Royal residence, part of it converted into a museum. A small portion is still used by the Royal family of Jaipur.

One of the major attractions in the museum is the portion known as Armory Museum, housing an impressive array of weaponry-pistols, blunderbusses, flintlocks, swords, rifles and daggers. Later visit the Jantar Mantar. – World heritage site. Later in the evening get a session of “Authentic Indian Popular Dishes Cooking Classes” in the hotel. The Indian cuisine is as diverse as its culture, languages, regions and its climate. All classes will feature an entire meal from “Appetizers to Dessert” and feature “hands-on recipes”. Day 05 Jaipur – Abhaneri / Fatehpur Sikri  – Agra (250 Kms. /5H 50M)
After breakfast drive to Agra via Fatehpur Sikri. Fatehpur Sikri is an exquisite city built by Akbar the Great in 1569, in red sandstone. It’s forts, palaces and mosques was abandoned 14 years after its creation due to political reasons.

The Diwane-i-Am – a vast courtyard in which the emperor gave daily public audience; Diwane-i-Khas – a large quadrangle which contained all the major functions of the Palace, Pachisi court, the Emperors private living quarter, Jodha Bhai’s Palace, Mariam’s Palace, Birbal’s Palace, Hawa Mahal and Panch Mahal are some of the important buildings of this residential complex. The Friday Mosque and the exquisite tomb of Sheik Salim Chisti are in the religious grounds set aside in a separate enclosure adjacent to the secular buildings.

Later drive to Agra.

Day 06 Agra
Agra is famous as the home to one of the Seven Wonders of the World – the Taj Mahal.

The architectural splendour of the mausoleums, the fort and the palaces in Agra is a vivid reminder of the opulence of the legendary Mughal Empire. Agra was their capital for nearly a hundred years from 1564. A pleasant town, with a comparatively easy pace, Agra is known for its superb inlay work on marble and soapstone by artisans who are hereditary craft persons. The city is also famous for its carpets, gold thread embroidery and leather shoes.

Morning: Visit the Taj Mahal – the inimitable poem in white marble. Ajmer is a city in the northern Indian state of Rajasthan. South of the city’s artificial Ana Sagar Lake is Ajmer Sharif Dargah, the domed shrine of the Muslim Sufi saint Garib Nawaz. Nearby, a 16th-century palace built by the Mughal emperor Akbar now houses the Ajmer Government Museum, displaying armor and stone sculptures. A museum at the Indo-Saracenic–style Mayo College exhibits art and taxidermied birds.

Planned by Vidyadhar Bhattacharya, Jaipur holds the distinction of being the first planned city of India. Renowned globally for its coloured gems, the capital city of Rajasthan combines the allure of its ancient history with all the advantages of a metropolis. The bustling modern city is one of the three corners of the golden triangle that includes Delhi, Agra and Jaipur.

The story goes that in 1876, the Prince of Wales visited India on a tour. Since the colour pink was symbolic of hospitality, Maharaja Ram Singh of Jaipur painted the entire city pink. The pink that colours the city makes for a marvellous spectacle to behold. Jaipur rises up majestically against the backdrop of the forts Nahargarh, Jaigarh and Garh Ganesh Temple.

Jaipur traces back its origins to 1727 when it was established by Jai Singh II, the Raja of Amber. He shifted his capital from Amber to the new city because of the rapidly-growing population and an increasing water scarcity. Noted architect Vidyadhar Bhattacharya used the established principles of Vastu Shastra to build the city.

Day 07 Jaipur
After breakfast, enjoy a full day sightseeing tour of Jaipur. Enjoy an elephant ride up to the famous 17th century Amber Fort. Thereafter, visit the enchantingly beautiful City Palace, a fine blend of Rajasthani and Mughal architecture, now housing a museum containing rare armories, manuscripts, and paintings.

Later, visit the Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds), the landmark architecture of Jaipur built of pink sandstone. You will also visit the Jantar Mantar, an Astronomical observatory built by maharaja Jai Singh in 1728.

Day 08 Jaipur – Abhaneri/Fatehpur Sikri – Agra (By Road) (265 Km/ 5.5H)
After breakfast drive to Agra, enroute visit Fatehpur Sikri. Fatehpur Sikri was built between 1571 and 1585. It is one of the finest examples of Mughal architectural splendour. Though the city is in ruins, it is a must visit place for those who visit Agra. Fatehpur Sikri is a place where one should spend some time. The sunset over the ruins of this fort is a sight to be cherished.

Abhaneri, also spelled Abaneri, is a village in the Dausa district of the Indian state of Rajasthan. Abhaneri is popular for the Chand Baori step well and Harshat Mata Temple.

Fatehpur Sikri is a small city in northern India, just west of Agra, founded by a 16th-century Mughal emperor. Red sandstone buildings cluster at its center. Buland Darwaza gate is the entrance to Jama Masjid mosque. Nearby is the marble Tomb of Salim Chishti. Diwan-E-Khas hall has a carved central pillar. Jodha Bais Palace is a mix of Hindu and Mughal styles, next to the 5-story Panch Mahal that overlooks the site.

Day 09 Agra
In the morning visit the famous Taj Mahal built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal. This monument is made of white marble and it took 22 years to get constructed.

After breakfast visit the Agra Fort which has the Pearl Mosque, Diwan-e-am (the hall of public audience) and Diwan-e-Khas (the hall of private audience).
