Day 01 Arrive Tel Aviv / Tel Aviv–Mediterranean Sea-Tiberias (144 km/ 2 hrs)
Arrivel at Tel Aviv meet & assist proceed to northward along the coast of the Mediterranean  Sea and via the city of Caesarea and Haifa, Israel’s largest port city, built on the slopes of Mt. Carmel. If time and flight details permit us, visit the famous Persian Hanging Gardens for a view of the Bahai Shrine. We then make a brief halt at the Elijah cave at Stella Marris then on to your hotel in Tiberias. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 02   Tiberius
After breakfast, proceed to Cana where Jesus performed His first Miracle, changing water into wine at the wedding feast. Then on to Nazareth, the boyhood town of Jesus and home of Mary and Joseph and visit the Basilica of the Annunciation built over the grotto where Archangel Gabriel appeared to announce that she would bear a son, Jesus. We also stop by Joseph’s workshop.
In the afternoon, we drive through the landscapes of Galilee and later for a ride in a replica of a Galilean fishing boat of that time, on the Sea of Galilee, where Jesus calmed the storm and walked on the water. Visit Capernaum – the center of Jesus’ ministry after he left Nazareth, stop at Tabgha- the Church of the Multiplication of the Loaves and Fishes, and continue to the expressive Church of the Beatitudes, where Jesus gave the Sermon on the Mount.  We make a brief halt at St. Peter’s house, the Church of Primacy of Peter and the place where Jesus bestowed St. Peter with His authority.  This believed to be the place where Jesus dined with His disciples. The flat Rock known as Mensa Christ or Christ’s table commemorates this event. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 03 Tiberius – Bethlehem (By Road) (180 kms / 1 hr 58 min appx.)
After breakfast proceed to Galilee for Jerusalem. After a stop at Yardenit, the traditional baptismal site on the Jordan River we continue along the Jordan Valley to the lowest point on the earth Dead Sea, located 400 meters below Sea level. First, we will visit the ancient city of Jericho, believed to be the oldest city on earth and view from here Mt. Quarantal, where Jesus spent 40 days when Satan tried to tempt him.  It is also the place where Jesus stopped on this way to Jerusalem, on the Eve of the Passover and were Jesus cured the blind man during his stay at Zachaeus house. We will visit the Qumran caves, where the Dead Sea Scrolls found.  Make a brief stop at a private beach and take the opportunity to float in the salty buoyant water, rich in minerals (towels and swim dress necessary).  On to the golden city Jerusalem via the Judean Desert. Overnight at the Hotel.

Day 04  Bethlehem
After breakfast, proceed to Ein Karem – the town of Judah and birthplace of John the Baptist, son of Elizabeth & Zechariah and the Church of Visitation. We then visit Mt Zion the cynical, the room for the last supper and King David’s Tomb. We also visit the Church of St. Peter Gallicantu the site where the High Priest imprisoned Jesus before he was turn over to the Romans and the church of Dormition.Onto Bethlehem, It was here that the angel announced the birth of Jesus to the shepherds of Bethlehem during the reign of King Herod; also, here David tended his flocks until he anointed King of Israel. Visit the Church of Nativity and the Manger Square; view the Shepherds Fields.Overnight at Hotel.

Day 05  Bethlehem
After breakfast, proceed to the Mt of Olives to the Church of Ascension, which commemorates the assents of Jesus to heaven, the Paternoster church, according to tradition, lye’s the cave where Jesus brought his decuples and spoke to them about the mystery of the end. Then continue to the panoramic view of Jerusalem and from there, by foot to Dominos Flavit where Jesus wept over eminent destruction of Jerusalem. The chapels built in the shape of a tear as a poignant reminder to this event, and then visit the Garden of Gethsemane where Jesus prayed while Judah betrayed him to the Romans. Visit the basilica of agony. We then go to the pools of Beit Hasda, where Jesus held the crippled man, and from there we take the Via Dolorosa (Way of Grief), traditionally accepted as the last route trodden by Jesus.  Follow the 14 Stations of the Cross to Golgotha, the place where Jesus was crucified marking significant events along the route.  You will see the Pilate’s Judgments Hall, the Chapel of the Flagellation where, according to tradition, the Roman soldiers scourged Jesus and placed a crown of thorns on His head the Ecce Homo Arch.  The last four Stations of the Cross are inside the Church of the Holy Sepulcher visible from the distance, wish is two silver domes, also “The Tomb” widely believed to be part of the stone that covered Jesus Tomb.   In the afternoon, we go through the Jewish quarter to the Wailing Wall, which is the holiest place for the Jewish religion. After Breakfast proceed to Timna Park Situated 25 minutes north of Eilat, Timna Valley enfolds the story of the world’s earliest copper mines, dating more than 6000 years ago when man first began smelting copper ore. In Timna’s amazing natural surroundings, ancient Egyptians established a massive copper mining operation, between the 14th & 12th centuries BCE. The copper ingots were then shipped to Egypt mainland form Pharaoh’s Island (also known as Coral Island) which was at the time the only natural port in the area.
“Mines of Time” – a multimedia presentation on a revolving stage that takes you on a fascinating journey to ancient Egypt. The stories of a bygone age include the origin of the copper serpent and the significance of the Egyptian Gods to the copper cult.
“The Mushroom” – A wonderful natural rock formation of a perfect mushroom created from red sandstone, situated next to the work camp where the copper ore was smelted in special ovens.”The Arches” – A natural phenomena, the stone Arch. Here one can climb a few steps and look upon an incredible setting. “Solomon’s Pillars and the Temple of the Goddess Hathor” – incredible 50 meter-high pillars from Timna’s sandstone. To the right of the pillars stone stairs lead to an Egyptian rock carving in which we see Pharaoh Ramses III presenting an offering to the Goddess of mines and turquoise, Hathor. From the viewing platform we can see the remains of the temple dedicated to the Goddess.”Timna Lake” – In the lake’s area you will have a chance to fill out colored sandstone bottles & enjoy a Bedouin style tea or coffee at the local Bedouin tent. Day 03 Eilat
After Breakfast proceed to “Eilat’s Coral World Underwater Observatory is a public aquarium, park and conservation center located in Eilat, Israel. It is the biggest public aquarium in Israel, and it hosts over 800 species. It was founded in 1974 and was the first of its kind. The park and aquarium is located to the south of Eilat’s Coral Beach nature reserve.” it includes 20,000 types of sea creatures (Not including the wild aquatic animals that can be seen from the observatory, and hatchlings, considering most aquatic species are capable of laying hundreds of eggs).Overnight at the Hotel

Visit the amphitheater and see the huge aqua-duct and hippodrome; see the excavations of the Crusader city.  Drive via Haifa, Israel’s largest port city and view the world famous Bahai Gardens. On to Akko the ancient crusader port and visit the Knights Templar subterranean halls.Lecture by a kibbutz member on life at this unique community living according to the Communism manifest. Day 03 Kibbutz
After Breakfast, proceed to the Sea of Galilee for a tranquil boat ride. Continue to Capernaum, home of Peter and center of Jesus preaching and visit the 2nd century synagogue. On to Tabgha, site of the miracle of Multiplication of Bread & Fishes and visit the church of Multiplication with its unique mosaic floor. Enjoy a picnic lunch on the shores of the Sea of Galilee. Continue to Mt Beatitudes, site of the Sermon on the Mount. End the day visit to a winery and a taste of Israeli wine. Tonight, enjoy a home cooked meal in an Arab village (Druz or Moslem or Christian) and learn of their culture & heritage.Overnight at Hotel.

Day 04 Kibbutz – Nazareth – Jerusalem (By Road) (308 kms/ 4hrs appx.)
After Breakfast, proceed to Nazareth where Mary was told by the Angel Gabriel that she would conceive a son and boyhood home of Jesus. Visit the Church of Annunciation.  On to visit a re-enactment of a Galilean village as it was 2,000 years ago. Drive to Canna & visit Sindyanna (closed on Sunday). This is a non-profit organization led by a team of Arab and Jewish women working to create social change from the ground up. Producing outstanding olive oil and other premium food products, while enhancing Arab-Jewish cooperation, creating economic opportunities for Arab women, and assisting local growers and producers.Drive south, passing via the old city of Jericho, to Bethlehem. Day 05 Jerusalem
After Breakfast, proceed to Jerusalem Old City – Ascend to Mt Olives for a panoramic view of Jerusalem & Bethlehem. See the church of Dominus Flevit (the Lord Wept), built in a shape of a tear drop and walk thru the Garden of Gethsemane. Cross the Kidron Valley and enter the Old City. See the Temple Mt and visit the Western Wall. Enter the restored Jewish Qtr and walk along the Cardo, the ancient main street of Jerusalem during the time of Jesus. Pass thru St. Stephens Gate and reach the Crusader church of St Anne. Visit the Pool of Bethesda, and follow the Via Dolorosa to the Church of the Holy Sepulcher. Evening – Sound & Light show at the David Citadel. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 06 Jerusalem
After Breakfast, proceed to Jerusalem New City –  Drive to the Jewish orthodox quarter of Mea Shearim and learn of the extremely religious’ way of life, and culture. Continue via the Knesset and see the symbol of the Menorah, on past the Supreme Court, and reach the Israel museum that houses the Dead Sea scrolls, which were discovered by a shepherd in the Qumran caves. Arrive to Yad Vashem, Israel’s memorial to the Holocaust victims. Walk along the Avenue of the Righteous, visit the museum & the Children’s Pavilion (closed on Sat).
Drive south of Jerusalem to the village of Neve Shalom (Oasis of Peace), where Jews, Moslems and Christians live together. Tour of the Village and learn of this unique community where the 3 major religions live and educate their children. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 07 Jerusalem – Mitzpe Ramon
After Breakfast, proceed to the lowest spot on earth – 400 meters to the Dead-Sea. Visit Ein Gedi, the desert oasis, and walk in this unique national park learning of the flora & fauna that grow in this harsh region. Drive to Massada, built as a winter castle by King Herod and the last stronghold of the Jewish zealots against the Romans and who committed suicide in 73AD rather than becoming enslaved to the Romans. Ascend by cable-car and visit the storage area, bath-houses & ancient synagogue. Descend the mountain and enjoy a swim in the mineral rich therapeutic water of the Dead. Drive south to Mitzpe Ramon for dinner & overnight in the Negev Desert by the Ramon Crater.
Night time – enjoy star gazing using in the desert – a combination of spectacular astronomical telescope observations (according to what is visible that night) accompanied by explanations and facts about our universe.

Day 08 Mitzpe Ramon – Tel Aviv (195 kms/ 2 hrs 15 min) Depart Tel Aviv.
Early morning Jeep ride in the Ramon Crater THROUGH THE SPICE ROUTE . The crater  thought to have been created when a meteorite struck the earth. And see the unique geological formations of the Machtesh. Visit the Bedouin village of Aricha and learn of the desert nomads life & customs.Departure transfer to onward destination.

Day 02 Safed / Haifa / Caesarea Maritima (By Road) (117 Km / 1 hrs , 48 min)
Drive to Safed, one of the four holy cities in Israel, center of Kabbalah (Jewish mysticism) movement; Visit the Caro and Ari synagogues; Stroll through the narrow alleyways and visit the picturesque Artists’ Quarter. Onto Haifa for a scenic view of the City, Stella Maris Monastery on the slopes of Mount Carmel, the Port and the magnificent Bahai Gardens and Shrine .Drive to Caesarea Maritima, the magnificent port-city built by King Herod the Great. From here St. Peter went to Rome and started with his first miracles. In Caesarea’s well-preserved theater an inscription of the procurator Pontius Pilate was found.Return to hotel. Day 03 Qumran / Masada / Dead Sea / Jerusalem (By Road) (127 Km / 2 hrs)
We descend to the deepest place on earth – The Dead Sea! Arriving there, we will visit Qumran, where the famous “Dead Sea Scrolls” were found and learn about the life of the Esseans, who lived a life that was very similar to the life and ideas of Jesus and his disciples. We will then climb (by cable-car…) the cliff-fortress Massada. Here, on a high cliff in the middle of the desert King Herod the Great built a magnificent palace. This fortified palace was later used by Jewish rebels as a stronghold against the Romans. Their heroic struggle against the mighty Roman Empire became a significant symbol for the modern state of Israel and was recognized by UNESCO as “World Heritage Site”. We end the day floating (you can’t swim…!!) in The Dead Sea, known for its healing qualities. Transfer to hotel. Overnight in Jerusalem.

Day 04 Old City
We ascend the Mt. of Olives to the Church of Ascension, from where we walk to the Pater Noster Church, one of the first 4 churches built by St. Helen. Now, just like Our Lord in the past, we can enjoy a panoramic view of the Old City of Jerusalem! A steep road takes us down to the Dominus Flevit Church, where the Lord wept over the destruction of the Temple. We will end this day at the Garden of Gethsemane, humbly meditating under the ancient Olive Trees, remembering Our Lord’s wailing in the Church of All Nations. Now we will re-experience that dramatic Friday, when Jesus was crucified.We start at the Bethesda Pools, where Jesus healed the crippled man who couldn’t walk for decades, and the St. Anna Church, famous for its long-lasting echo. Following Our Lord on the Way of the Cross – the “Via Dolorosa”, we stop by the Ecce Homo Arch, before entering the Sisters of Zion Monastery to see the Pretorium where Jesus was sentenced to Death,with the famous Lithostrotus, where you can still see some Roman engravings on the ancient pavement. The stations of the Via Dolorosa lead us through the colorful “Suq” (Bazaar) of the Old City to the Church of the Holy Sepulcher, where we will see the Hill of Calvary (Golgotha) and the empty Tomb of Jesus. Return to hotel in Jerusalem. Overnight in Jerusalem.

Day 05 Old City & Ein Karem
Our Old City Tour starts at the famous Western (“Wailing” Wall) –the last remnants of the Jewish Temple. Today different Jews from all over the world come here to worship. If open to visits, we will ascend the Temple Mount to view (from outside) the Dome of the Rock and the Al Aksa Mosque. Walking through the Jewish Quarter we will see the well-preserved Roman Cardo. We exit the Old City through the Zion Gate to visit the “Upper Room” (also known as the Cenacleor Caenaculum) where Jesus and his disciples had the Last Supper together, King David’s Tomb.

We drive to Ein Kerem, a picturesque village, in a peaceful valley between mountains and hills, surrounded by the beauty of natural groves, where tradition says John the Baptist was born. Ein Kerem is a pilgrimage site for many Christians. Ein Kerem has charming stone houses adorned with arches, churches whose bells chime in the clear air and lovely paths paved with stone. We end the day at the colorful and noisy Machane Yehuda Market, the largest open market in Israel built in 1928. Return to hotel in Jerusalem. Overnight in Jerusalem.
