Jamaica, a Caribbean island nation, has a lush topography of mountains, rainforests and reef-lined beaches. Many of its all-inclusive resorts are clustered in Montego Bay, with its British-colonial architecture, and Negril, known for its diving and snorkeling sites. Jamaica is famed as the birthplace of reggae music, and its capital Kingston is home to the Bob Marley Museum, dedicated to the famous singer.

Itinerary

Day 01: Arrive Montego Bay
Arrive Montego meet and assist at the airport and transfer to Hotel.
Montego Bay – Jamaica’s second city greets you with promises of pleasure. Much to see, feel, and experience. The lush land and idyllic breeze embrace. The mountainous beach town that is Montego Bay, is bordered by turquoise sea and reverberates reggae rhythms, displaying island art and fine cuisine; a true feast for the senses. Check in at your hotel and experience hospitality at its finest.

Day 02: Montego Bay – Negril                       B-L
Jamaica Discovery included activity – Rasta Village Experience: This is an entertaining uncovering of a unique subculture that is unparalleled in its influence on Jamaica’s celebrity. This encounter is fully guided by Rastafarians who will meet you at the Montego River Gardens to escort you across the Montego River and into the Rasta Village. We’ll spend a few hours with the Rastafarians– learning their history, lifestyle choices and their use of plants as remedies; eat their “ital” food. We’ll commune with the Rastafarians, play Rasta drums and chant theirs songs.

From the Rasta Village we’re off to Negril getting there in time to do another Jamaica Discovery included activity: Rick’s Cafe on the western edge of the island to experience the amazing Negril sunset and the thrill of cliff diving. Whether you’re brave enough to take the plunge, or just happy to watch the locals take dives from the cliffs before the sun sets, it is one of Jamaica’s ‘must see’ activities.

Day 03: Negril                                    (B)
Seven miles of white sand beach will call, and your response will be languorous moments of pure pleasure all day just soak it up Walk the beach, visit the cliffs, rock dive, scuba dive, wind surf, parasail or do nothing at all and relax in a hammock – our Negril home is the launching pad to the perfect Jamaican nights. We recommend that you check out a live Reggae show on the Beach. Do as much or as little as you like– Negril is yours.

Day 04: Negril-Treasure Beach                     B
Today we’re travelling to Treasure Beach but before getting there we take on another Jamaica Discovery included activity designed to lift your spirits – Appleton Estate Rum Tour. We’ll drive into Jamaica’s picturesque countryside for a taste of the past and present. See sugar cane become magically transformed into Jamaica’s Premium Rums. The Appleton Estate first distilled rum in 1749. Learn how this luscious liquor goes from sugarcane, to molasses, then sugar, and finally becomes Rum. Sample blends for age, taste and strength, then pick up a bottle (or two) to take home.

CAUTION: this tour ends with you being given access to the bar where you are allowed to serve yourself! From Appleton we head to Treasure Beach with a stop in Middle Quarters (famous for peppered shrimp) to experience Jamaican street food for lunch or you can chose instead to try our local fast food – patty (chicken, beef, vegetation, shrimp, etc). After lunch we make our way to Treasure Beach where we take up our lodgings for the next two (2) nights.

Day 05: Treasure Beach                     B
Wake up in Treasure Beach which is off the beaten path, and we hope it stays that way One of the quaintest spot on earth that will seamlessly claim you as a Local. Spend the days enjoying paradise any way you want. Opt to take Jamaica Discovery’s signature Dolphin Quest Black River Safari Experience, which is a local boat ride to search for dolphins and crocodiles in their natural environment.

As we make our way along the coast we’ll also be looking for the local dolphins on their morning swim. Once we get to the mouth of the Black River we’ll leave the Caribbean Sea behind and cruise upstream to see the Jamaican crocodile and many spices of birds native to the Black River Morass . See how the locals use the river for their livelihood – fishing and shrimping. Upstream the Black River we’ll stop at the Jamaica Discovery spot where you can be refreshed and have a swim in the rejuvenating waters of the Black River. Believe it or not today’s highlight is yet to come; leaving Black River our next destination is Pelican Bar. PELICAN BAR: Picture a mass of driftwood, nailed together to create a basic structure, covered by a palm leaves thatch roof and supported by stilts, sitting on a sandbar in the middle of the ocean, and this is Floyd’s Pelican Bar. This quaint island-in-the-sea lounge is like nothing you’ve ever seen –at Pelican Bar, have a drink, swim, sunbathe or just chill and soak up the lazy sun-drenched vibe.

Other options to enjoy from Treasure Beach are YS Falls, Lovers Leap which are also highly recommended.

Day 06: Treasure Beach – Kingston                B
Having charted a course for Kingston the anchor will drop in Jamaica’s capital city and heartbeat. Once in Kingston you’ll do a Jamaica Discovery included activity which is a visit to the Bob Marley Museum – the Bob Marley Museum. The museum is located at Bob Marley’s former residence, and you will be walking in his famous footsteps as you hear of his unique and impactful story. You’ll also have the options to visit Marley’s Trench Town culture yard and Tuff Gong Studios. With a little more energy, explore Kingston’s famous nightlife, full of reggae music and good vibes.

Day 07: Kingston – Montego Bay Departure           B
After breakfast departure transfer to Montego Bay airport to catch the flight for onward journey.

Itinerary

Day 01: Montego Bay Sangster Int’l Airport MBJ – Portland 1 Stop El Sol Vida Fun Tours
Arrive Jamaica meet and assist at the airport transfer to hotel.
Enjoy the 2-hour journey to Portland on-board your comfortable air-conditioned minivan.

Day 02: Portland 1 Stop San San Beach
Today you will get to enjoy Portland Parish! Your personal house staff will provide you with breakfast and local Blue Mountain Coffee. Your guide will take you through the rainforest garden to relax on San San Beach. After the beach you will be taken back to the villa to enjoy a lunch of your choice.

After lunch you will head to Port Antonio, the capital of Portland, where your personal guide will take you on a highlights tour of the rural town. After sightseeing in Port Antonio you will be taken back to the villa for your choice of dinner.

Day 03: Portland – Kingston 1 Stop Bob Marley Museum
Enjoy the beautiful countryside of Jamaica as we travel from Portland to the Capital City of Kingston. While in Kingston we will tour the Bob Marley museum, Jamaica’s first mansion the Devon House, and Port Royal an ancient port where the pirates if the Caribbean once ruled. Enjoy a complimentary local ice cream and a delicious seafood lunch.

After lunch you will journey back to Portland for the night.

Day 04: Portland – Ocho Rios 1 Stop Dunn’s River Falls and Park
Today you will visit the garden parish of Ocho Rios. Climb the famous waterfalls of Dunn’s River Falls and enjoy lunch. After lunch there will be a highlights tour of Ocho Rios including a to visit the botanical gardens and a local craft market where you can shop for gifts or souvenirs.

After the tour you will be transported back to Portland to enjoy the rest of your evening.

Day 05: Portland 1 Stop San San Beach
Today is a free day where you can choose what you want to do! Enjoy the facilities on the property or trek down to the San San beach.

Enjoy lunch on the resort and if you choose to, head off the property for a seaside dinner at a local eatery (additional cost). The day and evening are yours to enjoy any way you choose.

Day 06: Portland 1 Stop Rio Grande
On your final day in Portland you will get to take a ride on a bamboo raft, piloted by an licensed rafter, down the Rio Grande river. An authentic Jamaican lunch will be served on the banks of the river.

After lunch you will be taken back to the villas where you can get ready to enjoy your last night in Jamaica. Duration: Admission

Stop for shopping in beautiful Ocho. Enjoy Dunn’s River Falls – climb this amazing work of Mother Nature. Scale the 600 ft limestone rock formation as water cascades past you and splashes into the ocean below. Definitely experience of a lifetime!!!

Day 4 Negril – Ys Falls – Negril (By Road) (84 kms /01hrs 30 min – One Way)
Embark on an adventure today when you go into the YS FALLS. YS Falls is one of Jamaica’s finest natural attractions, offering the opportunity to experience the beauty of a series of untouched and unspoiled waterfalls on the South Coast of Jamaica. It has seven waterfalls, several of which cascade into natural pools, and lush gardens. This experience begins with a short open air jitney ride through the Jamaican countryside passing lush vegetation and rushing rivers along the way. After your brief journey you’ll be greeted by a magnificent natural setting that features tasteful ecological structures, play areas, a natural spring pool and the seven flowing tiers of the majestic YS Falls. You can make your way along crafted wooden walkways to the top of the falls to enjoy a refreshing dip in the crisp natural pools. Overnight at the hotel in Negril.

Day 5 Negril-Appleton Estate Tour-Negril (By Road) (98 km/ 02 hrs-One Way)
Today proceed to Appleton Estate tour. Enjoy an Appleton rum punch while the resident donkey demonstrates how juice was extracted from the sugar cane in the 18th century. Visit the Distillery & Ageing House, where the different methods of distillation are shown. Participate in the crushing of the sugar cane and tasting of the freshly squeezed cane juice and molasses. An authentic Jamaican style lunch will be served. Try out all the great tasting rums in the Appleton lounge. Overnight at the hotel in Negril.
