Day 02: Beirut
After Breakfast enjoy a tour of the capital city of Beirut. Your tour will begin with the National Museum, the principal museum of archaeology, history and culture in Lebanon. Afterwards, explore the downtown area including Martyrs Square, Nejmeh Square with the famous clock tower, the Roman Ruins and Bathes, Mohammad El Amin Mosque and Saint Georges Church. Back to the hotel for free time. Overnight at Beirut.

Day 03: Beirut-Chouf via Sidon and Tyre
After Breakfast transfer to Chouf. Enroute your trip starts in the village of Maghdouché, which is famous for its shrine that marks the sacred cave where the Virgin Mary is believed to have waited for Jesus while he preached in Sidon. At the town’s entrance, on a high hill looking back at the city of Sidon, stands the statue of Lady Mantara, Maghdouche’s most famous landmark. From here, you head to the coast to visit Sidon, another important commercial center with a wealth of history. Explore the impressive Great Mosque and hear how it was built in the 16th century on the foundations of a Crusader building. Your final stop will be in the magnificent city of Tyre, built by the Romans. Listen to the stories of the ancient city’s prosperity which was based on an industry of purple-dyed textiles, and visit the UNESCO-listed ruins built during Roman times. Later drive to Chouf Mountains for check in.

Day 04: Chouf-Anjar
After Breakfast start your day with visit to Deir Al Qamar village to witness its distinctive narrow streets, stone steps, and historical buildings and palaces. Deir Al Qamar resembles an open-air museum. From the 16th to 18th centuries, the picturesque village served as the residence of the Ottoman appointed governors of Lebanon, beginning with Fakhreddine II. Then you will go to Moussa Castle, which demonstrates Lebanon’s traditional way of life and moments in history.

Animated scenes and statues depicting Lebanese culture comprise three floors of the castle, while the other two floors hold Eastern and Arabic weapons collection that date from as recently as 1945 to more than 4000 years old. You will continue your journey to Beiteddine built by the Emir’s 3 sons: Qassim, Khalil and Amine. Today Emir Khalil’s palace is used as the Serail of Beiteddine, the seat of local administration. As for the Palace of Emir Amine, which dominates the Beiteddine complex; it was beautifully restored and converted into a luxury hotel by the Ministry of Tourism. Later, you will head to Anjar.

Day 05: Anjar-Beirut via Baalbek and Ksara
After Breakfast explore Anjar the town’s showpiece – the Umayyad ruins. Wander through this fascinating complex: remnants of an 8th-century palace city ruled by the Ummayad dynasty; ruined Temples, Arcades and Gates built in Hellenistic and Roman style. Next, continue into the Bekaa Valley to Ksara, home of the famous Ksara Caves discovered in 1898. These ancient caves are now used as cellars by Chateau Ksara, Lebanon’s oldest wine estate. You can learn about the wine making process and finish with tasting of delicious wines here.

Final stop in Baalbek, which is also known as the City of the Sun. It is located in the Beqaa Valley (3000 ft above sea level) and holds some of the world’s greatest historical and best preserved Roman sites. Its remains include a gigantic complex of Roman temples with the tallest columns ever erected. The Roman gods were worshiped in its Acropolis (constructed between 1st –3rd Century AD). In Jupiter Temple, only six columns remain out of the 54 giant columns that originally surrounded the sanctuary. The temple was built over a Phoenician podium dating from around 3000 BC. We later, drive you to Beirut.

Day 06: Beirut-Byblos via Jeita and Harissa
After Breakfast driven north to visit Jeïta Grotto the jewel of tourism in Lebanon, where 2 limestone crystallized grottoes characterized by extraordinary concretions of stalactites and stalagmites sculpted naturally in different forms, sizes and colors are found. Then proceed to Harissa where you will see the Shrine of Our Lady of Lebanon, which is a Marian shrine and a pilgrimage site in Lebanon. In addition, you will enjoy a panoramic view of Jounieh Bay using the cable cars from Harissa to Jounieh. Then transfer to Byblos, the “oldest continuously inhabited city in the world” to visit the famous Crusader castle, old souks and discovering some beautiful Churches.

Day 07: Byblos-Ehden via Cedars, Qadisha and Qozhaya
After Breakfast start your day with a visit to “Cedars of God” Forest located in the Kadisha Valley of Bsharri, one of the last vestiges of the extensive forests of the Lebanese cedars that anciently thrived across Mount Lebanon. Continue to visit Gibran Museum, a biographical museum dedicated to the Lebanese writer, philosopher and artist Gibran Khalil Gibran. The museum was an old cavern where many hermits sought refuge since the 7th century. On your way to Qozhaya you will pass through Qadisha Valley for a photo stop. The valley was carved by the Kadisha River also known as the Nahr Abu Ali when it reaches Tripoli. Then arrive to Qozhaya to visit The Monastery of Saint Anthony the Great” the Living Treasure “, it belongs to the Lebanese Maronite Order known as Baladites.

Day 08: Ehden-Beirut via Tripoli and Batroun
After breakfast start your day with unforgettable tour to discover the beautiful city of Tripoli, the city is rich in ancient history, starting from the Citadel of St. Gilles to the Old Souk and Khans and then head to Taynal Mosque that is considered the most important monument in Tripoli, standing in the middle of an orchard and visible from all sides, it’s an oblong structure of sandstone. Followed by a visit to Batroun to discover the story behind the Phoenician wall and the old Phoenician stadium in addition to Batroun old harbor visit. Return to Beirut by evening.

Day 09: Beirut Departure
After Breakfast departure transferred Airport to catch the flight for onward Journey.
