Mozambique is a southern African nation whose long Indian Ocean coastline is dotted with popular beaches like Tofo, as well as offshore marine parks. In the Quirimbas Archipelago, a 250km stretch of coral islands, mangrove-covered Ibo Island has colonial-era ruins surviving from a period of Portuguese rule. 

Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive Maputo/ Maputo–Inhambane (By Road) (479 Kms/7 hrs Appx)
arrival in Maputo, meet with your crew for the start of safari to the Inhambane District. At your overnight, you will be welcomed by a traditional Mozambique dinner.
Overnight in Inhambane.

Day 2: Inhambane
Spend your two days on the beach swimming and enjoying the diving offered by the reefs at the coast. You will also have an opportunity to relax and enjoy the warm water of the Indian Ocean. There will be optional activities to willing people.
Accommodation at hotel. Overnight in Inhambane.

Day 3: Inhambane
Take a short drive to the other Mozambique’s iconic beach, the Tofo. It is the best place for day outing as it consists of beach bars, safe swimming pool, and a charming market. The day activities of diving as guided not only do the day has to offer but also the flexibility to adapt to the weather.
Accommodation at Hotel. Overnight in Inhambane.

Day 4: Inhambane – Vilanculos (By Dhow Ferry)
Rise for an opportunity of exploring the market and the historic streets of the former slave trading port. Our esteemed guide will arrange a genuinely local experience of dhow ferry across the bay, to those interested. The old boats have been in the East Coast of Africa for years. Later travel by truck to Vilanculos to Aguia Negra for dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Vilanculos -Bazuruto – Vilanculos (By Dhow)
Wake up early for a board of the traditional dhow to the islands of the Bazuruto Archipelago. It is one of the largest Marine reserves in the south of Africa. Spend the day exploring the island and enjoying the beach. Carry along with the sunblock as the place maybe sunny and the sandy filled. Return at noon and have a fabulous night rest at Aguia Negra.

Day 6 Vilanculos – Xai Xai District (By Road) (171 kms / 03 hrs appx.)
After good bed rest, take the route to the Xai Xai District arriving at late noon. Evening free.
Overnight in Hotel.

Day 7: Xai Xai District  – Maputo (By Road) (216 kms /03 hrs 30 min appx.)
Wake up early in the morning and drive to Maputo transfer to airport for your onward journey.

Day 1: Arrive Maputo
In and around Maputo
Maputo is a unique and historic city. When you arrived in Maputo you will do a city tour from Maputo.  You will get to meet the Maputo beloved by its locals on a half-day tour including stops at the Fortress, Central Market, Museum of Natural History, Railway Station and FEIMA curio market. You will also pass by the Maputo City Hall, Cathedral, Botanical Gardens and Iron House. Your lunch and dinner is for your own account at the hotel or in the city if you want to eat outside the hotel. Overnight in Maputo.

Day 2: Maputo
After a great breakfast, you have free time to do some relaxing at the hotel, explore the city or do some of the optional activities. Why don’t you go to Kruger National Park for a day? Experience the Big 5 at it’s best. Your lunch and dinner is for your own account at the hotel or in the city if you want to eat outside the hotel. Overnight in Maputo.

Day 3: Maputo –Harbour (171 km/3 hrs) / Harbour – Machangulo (By Boat)
After a great breakfast, you will be transferred from the hotel to the harbour for your 3 days stay at Machangulo. From the harbour you enjoy a one-hour boat ride from Maputo. When you arrive at the property you have free time for the rest of the day to explore the property and the beautiful secluded peninsula or do some of the optional activities (Please see below). You have a lovely lunch at the hotel. After lunch you can proceed with your free time. Later on the day you can go freshen up for dinner at the hotel. 

Day 4: Machangulo
After a great breakfast at the hotel, you have free time to do some relaxing at the hotel, explore the  or do some of the optional activities (Please see below). You have free time for the rest of the day to explore the property and the beautiful secluded peninsula or do some of the optional activities (Please see below). You have a lovely lunch at the hotel. After lunch you can proceed with your free time. Later on the day you can go freshen up for dinner at the hotel. 

Day 5: Machangulo

After a great breakfast at the hotel, you will be transferred back to harbour with . From the harbour you will enjoy a one-hour boat ride to Maputo. From the harbour you will be transferred to your hotel in Maputo. When arriving at your hotel, you will have the afternoon at leisure. Your lunch and dinner is for your own account at the hotel or in the city if you want to eat outside the hotel.

Day 7: Maputo
After breakfast  transferred to the airport for your flight back home.

Arrival at Maputo International airport, where our representative will be waiting for you to accompany you to the resort. After reaching the hotel  spend the remaining day at ease.

In the evening, head out for a quiet walk. Overnight stay.

Day 2 Maputo – Reserve      B-L-D
Pick will be at 6:30 AM at your place of accommodation in and around Maputo. Breakfast will be on board while crossing the brand new Maputo, Catembe Bridge. Go wild the reserve in discovery of the unique aspects of wild and the magnificent ecosystems enriched with biomes. Break for lunch at noon in the wild. After your meals continue to the camp area. You will be served with dinner of traditional African recipes under the unique starry sky and a warm fire.
Overnight stay in Camp.

Day 3  Reserve    B-L-D
After breakfast, explore the wonders of the reserve wildlife and landscapes. Return to the camp at late hours. You will be served with sunset drink as you wait for the dinner to be prepared by our chef. Overnight stay in Camp.

Day 4 Reserve –  Maputo     B-L-D
Early breakfast after which you will take the last discovery of the reserve before a return to Maputo. There will be lunch at noon followed by a drive back to Maputo. Arrive at around 4:30 PM and be drop at your place of accommodation.
Night stay in Hotel.

Day 05 Depart Maputo  B   (By Flight)
After breakfast transfer to airport  for onward journey.
