Program

Cruise by big boat to two of Asia’s most beautiful islands, Phi Phi Don and Phi Phi Ley. Phi Phi Don is the largest of the islands in the Ko Phi Phi archipelago. It is the only island in the group with permanent inhabitants. What’s so unique about this island is that unlike other islands in the archipelago, Phi Phi Don is a non-volcanic island largely made of limestone. It is almost separated into two islands, except for a strip of flat land connecting its two halves. On this thin land bridge lies the largest town on the island, and various popular resorts.

Continue with a visit to Ko Phi Phi Ley, also known as the Viking. It’s the most spectacular island for scenery and the second-largest island of the archipelago. This island also consists of a ring of steep limestone hills surrounding two shallow bays, Maya Bay and Loh Samah. Maya Bay cannot be accessed directly from the sea via boat. The only path to the remote bay is via a short section of rocks and jungle. There is also one large shallow fjord-like inlet called Pi Ley with a small coral reef at the entrance.

After lunch, there is ample time to shop, swim, snorkel, or just relax on the beach. Arrive back in Phuket later afternoon.

Travel on a speed boat to the beautiful island of Ko Phi Phi Ley, also known as The Viking, the second-largest island of the archipelago. Program

Known as the Pearl of Andaman, Phuket is the largest island in Thailand and a favored magnet for jet setters.

Your journey on this mountainous peninsula begins with a scenic ride down to Promthep Cape at the island’s southernmost point. Feel the muted spirituality on this rocky hill as you enjoy spectacular views of Nai Harn Beach and Ko Kaew Island while the Andaman Sea kisses the shoreline 200 feet below. Promthep draws hundreds of tourists and locals alike each evening to soak in its breathtaking sunsets.

You’ll continue to the gold and white Wat Chalong Buddhist temple. Considered to be the most important Buddhist temple in Phuket, this sacred site is believed to contain an actual splinter of bone from Buddha. Walkthrough the grand pagoda and gaze up at the walls to view intricate scroll carvings and colorful paintings. Join in with the meditators by paying respect to the Buddha and drop a small donation in the coin box on your way out for good karma.
