Day 02 Delhi
After breakfast, early morning relaxation. Outside look at the Red Fort built in the 17th century and visit the Jama Masjid mosque, the largest mosque on the Indian subcontinent. TouDays in the old town, a walk through the maze of alleys to the bustling bazaar of Chandni Chowk will be your opportunity to take the pulse of these neighborhoods that never sleep.

At the eastern end of Chandni Chowk is the Digambara Jain Temple, whose small marble courtyard is surrounded by a beautiful colonnade. It is the refuge of the birds of the city, which even have their hospital there!

In the afternoon, enjoy the freshness of the parks in the new Delhi of Lutyens, a garden city with vast avenues lined with huge trees.

Not far from there, the very elegant Lodi Garden, which houses the tombs of the Sayyid and Lodi dynasties from the 15th and 16th centuries, invites you to stroll in the shade of its hundred-year-old trees.

Further south, the Qutub Minar complex, dominated by the monumental tower built in the 13th century to mark the arrival of Muslims in Delhi. The whole, unfinished and today almost entirely in ruins, presents an interesting amalgam of Persian art and Hindu influences.

Day 03 Delhi – Agra (By Road) (210 Kms. / 4H 10M appx.)
After breakfast, Road to Agra, stop in Sikandra to discover in the middle of a huge park, the colossal mausoleum of the Mughal emperor Akbar 1556-1605. It harmoniously combines Hindu and Indo-Muslim architecture.

Day 04 Agra
After breakfast, visit the Red Fort built in the 16th century by the emperor Akbar. Its massive 25 m high walls house a succession of palaces and pavilions. Discovery of the tomb of Mirza Hiyas Beg, commonly called, “the little Taj Mahal” located on the bank of the Yamuna.

Visit the Taj Mahal, a luminous white marble mausoleum built by the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan to immortalize his love for his wife Mumtaz, closed on Friday. After 3 years of work, the renovation of the main facade of the Taj Mahal and its four minarets is magnificently completed.

Day 05 Agra – Fatehpur Sikri – Ranthambore (By Road) (240 Km / 5H 45M)
After breakfast, On the way from Ranthambore, stop at Fatehpur Sikri which was one of the capitals of the Mughal emperor Akbar. A UNESCO World Heritage Site, its red sandstone palaces combine Indian architecture with those of Iran and Central Asia.

In the early afternoon, express train to Sawai Madhopur and continuation by road to Ranthambore. Ranthambore Park is closed from July to September.

Day 06 Ranthambore
After breakfast, the national park covers 411 km². It is in these magnificent landscapes, where lakes and rivers alternate, that an ambitious project of reintroduction and protection of the tiger was carried out.

If you don’t have the chance to spot tigers, many other animals are visible: hyenas, bears, deer, crocodiles and more than 250 species of birds. Safaris in the reserve early in the morning and at the end of the afternoon with a naturalist guide depending on the number of visitors present, the visit can be carried out in a private jeep or vehicle for ten to fifteen people.

Day 02 Delhi
After breakfast, proceed on a tour of Old and New Delhi. The 17th century tour of the old city includes the famous Jama Masjid mosque, the main avenue of Old Delhi where there is a colorful market called Chandni Chowk Moonlight Avenue.

They will also visit the Red Fort, one of the most famous architectural works of the Mogols, built by the Mogol emperor, Shah Jahan, between 1638 and 1648, passing Raj Ghat, the site of the cremation of Mahatma Gandi. New Delhi includes the Qutab Minar, one of Delhi’s best-known sites, built in 1199, and Humayun’s Tomb, forerunner of the Taj Mahal.

They will visit the incredible Rajpath “Route of the Kings”, passing the Gateway of India dedicated to the memory of unknown soldiers, the House of the President and the Congress. Get away from the city a bit by visiting Birla Mandir, a very colorful modern Hindu temple. Free afternoon.

Today, enjoy the visit of Old Delhi. Visiting Jama Masjid, India Gate largest mosque. Drive past the ancient walled city past the famous Red Fort. Next, visit Raj Ghat, Mahatma Gandhi’s cremation site.

In the afternoon, visit to New Delhi includes a visit to Qutub Minar (built by Qutub-ud-din Aibak in 1199), Gurudwara Bangla Sahib, and India Gate (War Memorial Arch). Also, you will visit the President’s House, Parliament House and other Government Secretariat Buildings.

Day 04 Agra
This morning, experience the awesome beauty of the love symbol, the Taj Mahal. Often referred to as a poem on white marble, Taj Mahal demonstrates the saga of love between Emperor Shah Jahan and Mumtaz Mahal.

Then, visit Agra Fort, which is built on red sandstone and has magnificent palaces, public and private hallways, and beautiful gardens.

This morning excursion to the deserted city of Amber (It is the ancient capital of the Rajputs Empire), Famous for its fort, which we will ride on elephant or Jeep to its fortified palace whose pavilions are adorned with paintings and marble filigree.

In the afternoon visit the City Palace complex with its museums and Jantar Mantar, with the old astronomical observatory, and with the Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds), built in the 18th century. Day 02 Delhi
After breakfast, we will visit the seven cities of delhi thirty centuries old and having been several times the imperial capital of the Hindustani subcontinent, they have given delhi the nickname of “the rome of asia”. Starting in the 13th century, six Muslim dynasties ruled northern India and built seven capitals of their empires in Delhi. In the first delhi, founded in 1206, we will visit the oldest mosque in india, qwaat-al-islam, built with remains of Hindu temples. We will see the Altamish tomb and the Qutub minaret, a seventy-three meter tower erected to commemorate the triumph of Islam over Hinduism.

After a stopover in front of the bahai lotus temple, we will visit the mausoleum of emperor humayum, second of the great Mughals. We will continue to shahjahanabad, the seventh or old delhi and we will conclude our tour visiting the Friday mosque, the largest in india and riding a rickshaw among the bazaars of the old delhi to the red fort, in its time the largest palace in the world. Despite the looting, the dying fort with its audience halls, kiosks and the shah jahan’s bedrooms testifies to the greatness of the Mughals, of the splendor of a court whose excesses, lusts and serrallos of hundreds of women and thrones covered with rubies and diamonds they granted a place in history.

Day 03 Delhi – Varanasi (By Flight)
After breakfast departure by plane to Varanasi Varanasi. In the afternoon we will take a walk to Sarnath, a small town located a few kilometers from Varanasi. 25 centuries ago, in this place, in the deer park, buddha delivered the sermon of the four noble truths and spoke to his disciples about the causes and the overcoming of suffering transforming the thought and art of asia and giving structure to the great far eastern civilizations.

At night, in an unforgettable journey through time, the crowds and the bewitching decrepitude of the streets we will go into the heart of Varanasi, to witness the brahmanic ceremony of the aarti on the banks of the ganges.

Day 04 Varanasi – Khajuraho (By Flight)
After breakfast, Sacred sensuality, the millennial Benares or Varanasi, is for Hindus the most venerable city in India and the oldest in the world. The ganges, a gift from the god shiva as a palliative to the thirst and existential emptiness of men, is the center of activity in this city. Before dawn, we will go out to the riverbank.

We will walk amid a procession of gurus, cows, flower garland vendors, incenses, embarrassed tourists, and beautiful girls dressed in colorful saris in a perpetual party vibe, like battleship of prayers, merchant bargaining, twittering birds, crow squawks and pop songs blasting out of ramshackle horns that hang over tea stands or fritangas. The incredible Varanasi, the “Dantesque” holy city with its river laden with human ashes is paradoxically one of the most vital places in India to which every dawn thousands of pilgrims come from all corners of the subcontinent to bathe to wash their souls. India and Hinduism, their rites and philosophies are concentrated in this microcosm: “the city where, according to the ancient texts, the most important of all trips begins, the one that each one undertakes towards himself”.

After a tour of the river in front of the s gaths ’stepped slopes and stroll on foot among the ancient streets of ancient varanasi, we will return to the hotel for breakfast. Departure at noon by plane to Khajuraho. In the afternoon we will visit the temples whose sculptures and the extraordinary beauty and elegance of the monuments deserved to enter the list of “unesco world heritage sites”. Khajuraho is the pinnacle of the Nagara style, the classic Hindu architecture of North India.

Under the slender stone towers carved with amazing mastery, we will appreciate the prodigious sculptural work of the walls populated by avalanches of nymphs, goddesses, celestial dancers and couples of lovers immersed in the ecstasy of a kiss or melting their rock anatomies in the most implausible forms of the act of love, like beings levitating amid the rapture of erotic fulfillment. Apart from the philosophical interpretations around the sculptures, there is no doubt that these are a tribute to feminine sensuality and beauty as a symbol of creative energy and a stone offering to the ritual of sexuality as the path to spiritual redemption. Khajuraho is one of the great treasures of Asia.

Day 05 Khajuraho – Orchha (By Road) (180 Kms. / 4H 30M appx.)
After breakfast, The Unknown Kingdom, the Bundela dynasty established its little kingdom in the heart of the Mughal Empire in the early 16th century. Thanks to diplomatic talent, its rulers managed to maintain the independence and respect of their powerful neighbors.

The city was founded in 1530 on a rocky island amidst the streams of the betwa and was abandoned two hundred years later. Today, the ruins of its patina-blackened temples and cenotaphs still stand out around the imposing maze of domes, towers and passageways of the Jahangiri Mahal, the most important palace in Ourchha and one of the most original buildings in India.

Orchha is a town in Niwari district of Madhya Pradesh state, India. The town was established by Rudra Pratap Singh some time after 1501, as the seat of an eponymous former princely state of covering parts of central & north India, in the Bundelkhand region.

Day 06 Orchha – Gwalior – Agra (By Road) (240 Km / 2H 30M – One Way)
After breakfast, drive to Agra.
On the way visit Gwalior.

Gwalior is a city in the central Indian state of Madhya Pradesh. It’s known for its palaces and temples, including the Sas Bahu Ka Mandir intricately carved Hindu temple. Ancient Gwalior Fort occupies a sandstone plateau overlooking the city and is accessed via a winding road lined with sacred Jain statues. Within the fort’s high walls is the 15th-century Gujari Mahal Palace, now an archaeological museum.

Gwalior Fort is a hill fort near Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh, central India. The fort has existed at least since the 10th century, and the inscriptions and monuments found within what is now the fort campus indicate that it may have existed as early as the beginning of the 6th century.

Later, continue drive to Agra.
On arrival, visit Red Fort, Itmad-ud-daula, SIkandra and Mehtaab Bagh.

We will visit the mausoleum of Akbar the Great in Sikandra, and later the Agra Fort, with rooms lined with marble arches and fountains in the form of lotus flowers. This immense complex was the residence of Akbar, Jahanghir and Shah Jahan for a hundred years and together with the Taj Mahal and the small Itimid-ud-Daula mausoleum with which we will conclude the walk, it represents the apogee of the imperial style of Mughal architecture.

Day 07 Agra – Fatehpur Sikri/Abhaneri – Jaipur (By Road) (253 Km/ 5H 10M)
Early morning, visit of Taj Mahal.

The taj mahal and the red fort of the Mughals on the margins of romantic stories, of the hundreds of thousands of pages of diatribe or elegy written around the taj mahal, no one can deny the fact that this is the most important mausoleum famous and one of the most moving buildings in the world for its almost supernatural beauty.

Due to lack of water it was abandoned and its palaces, harem and squares, thanks to the arid climate, were left intact. Fatehpur sikri is forceful in its outline and plastic unity, like a colossal symphony of red sandstone. The effect of this vast and empty city is overwhelming. We will walk among the palaces of the Akbar favorites and ministers, the Serrallo enclosure, the private audience pavilion with its extraordinary “lotus capital”.

Finally we will go to the mosque area, the gate of magnificence and the small mausoleum of selim chisti, the adviser of akbar, and the only white marble construction in the whole city, lost as a pearl in the huge red labyrinth of fatehpur.

Like its passions and its history, in Rajasthan everything is intense: dances, crafts, the hubbub of its cities and the beauty of its people. Jaipur was founded by jai singh ii, “the sage,” who devoted much of his life to books, mathematics, and astronomy.

In the morning, “on the back of an elephant” we will go up to the Amber Fort, former seat of the Jai Singh II dynasty. We will visit the kali temple and the palace bedrooms with vaults adorned by thousands of mirrors whose purpose was to multiply the lights of the lamps to infinity. In the afternoon we will do the panoramic circuit of jaipur including the royal palace and the palace of the winds, exotic fantasy of pink stone, with five floors of façade, created with the sole purpose of allowing harem women to see the parades without being observed by the street people.

Finally we will visit the Jantar Mantar, the observatory built by Jai Singh, with its enormous sundials and other monumental structures designed for the study of constellations and planetary movements. While in Europe the Roman Empire collapsed and in Mesoamerica the heyday of Palenque and Teotihuacan began, on the other side of the world, in Ajanta, India, temples and monasteries were excavated on the side of a ravine with splendid murals and sculptures on life of the “enlightened”.

The great merit of these works, more than the biographical content on buddha, is their coloring and the courtly scenes of the palace where siddhartha was supposedly born among girls with huge eyes, dressed only in necklaces of jewels and gauze that accentuate the beauty of their dark bodies. Swayambhunath: A top a green hillock west of Kathmandu,stands the great stupa of Swayambhunath. This is a site that is over 2500 years old marking the point where the legendary patriarch Manjushri discovered the lotus of the ancient valley lake. For centuries an important centre of Buddhist leaving, the painted eyes of the Buddhist gaze out from all four sides of this monument. Patan City: Patan is one of the most historically important city of the Kathmandu valley. It is known as the centre of fine arts and for the superb craftsmanship of its artisans. It is situated in the east of Kathmandu valley about 14 km. away. It today retains much of its beauty in ornate woodcarvings and in the famed Golden Gate.

Nagarkot is a popular and romantic tourist spot of Nepal. It is situated 32 kilometers east of Kathmandu at an altitude of 2175 Mts. above the sea level. The panorama of the major peaks of eastern Nepal Himalayas including Mt. Everest, can be seen from here. And also good view for Sun rise and Sun Set.

Day 04 Nagarkot – Chitwan (By Road) (201 Kms. / 5 hrs. appx.)
In the morning after breakfast drive to Chitwan . Check in at hotel.
LUNCH at Hotel and Start Jungle activities.
Evening Cultural Program- watch programs consisting of traditional (folk) dance and songs.

Day 05 Chitwan – Pokhara (By Road) (203 Kms. / 5 hrs. appx.)
In the morning after breakfast Start elephant safari then after Drive to Pokhara.

Pokhara is the place of glorious and unique natural beauty in Nepal. The most serene environment in the city is Fewa Lake. The image of the snow-clad mountain peaks that falls in the tranquil water creating an ambience of peace and magic. It is at an elevation lower than Kathmandu. The fact is that Pokhara is much appreciated by the beautiful diversity of flowers which prosper in its environment.

Day 06 Pokhara
Early morning Drive to Sarangkot for Sunrise view.
Return back to hotel for breakfast.
After breakfast proceed for sightseeing. Overnight at hotel.

Sarangkot – Western Himalayan Ranges including Annapurna, Fishtail, Dhaulagiri etc..
Visit Davis Falls, Gupteswor Cave, Mahendra Cave , International Mountain Museum and Seti River George .

Davis Falls : About 2 km south of where Lake Phewa drains into the Pardi Khola the terrain drops sharply away and the river plunges over the Devi Falls, disappearing into a sink-hole. After about 200 m it re-emerges before flowing into the Phusre Khola. The falls are also known as David Falls, reputedly because someone of that name was sucked into the whirlpool and drowned .

Shri Gupteshwar Mahadev: Gupteswar means the one who is present everywhere in every form but still is not divulged. Hence those who visit the Gupteshwar Mahadev, will never be touched by any of the five doshas even in their dreams, all their desires are fulfilled and if the devotee carry’s out the Jal Abhishek ceremony with water from Maa-Narmada for a month, Lord Shiva is bound to provide a glimpse and fulfill all his worldly and heavenly desires no matter how colossal they may seem, for this what lord shiva pledged to lord shri Rama during his stay.

Mahendra Cave: This cave discovered in 1950 by young shepherds and it was named Mahendra Cave in honor of King Mahendra Bir Bikram Shah Dev. Locals refer to the cave as the House of Bats (Chamero Odaar) due to this shy species of wildlife that call the cave home. The Mahendra Cave is a natural cave that is made from limestone. The entire cave is decorated in spectacular stalagmites and stalactites.

International Mountain Museum: The International Mountain Museum is devoted to the mountains of Nepal and the mountaineers who climbed them. Inside you can see original gear from many of the first Himalayan ascents, as well as displays on the history, culture, geology and flora and fauna of the Himalaya.

Seti River George : The river has carved a deep, narrow gorge through the middle of town, turning the water milky white in the process. At points, the gorge is less than a metre across and the river gushes by more than 50m below street level. If you peer down through the darkness, you can just see the water churning through the gorge.

Day 07 Pokhara – Kathmandu (By Road) (205 Kms. / 5 hrs. appx.)
In the morning after breakfast drive to Kathmandu.
On arrival transfer to hotel.
Free time for your own. Evening dinner in typical Nepali Restaurant with cultural show.
Overnight at hotel.

The highway is lined with modern townships that have sprung up around important road junctions and river crossings. The scenery along the road is dramatic. The highway follows a series of deep river valleys, passing ancient stone villages, cascading rice terraces, rocky gorges and roaring rapids crossed by precarious suspension bridges. On clear days, most of the way to Pokhara there are views of Machhapuchhare and the Annapurna massif.

Day 08 Kathmandu – Lhasa (By Flight)
In the morning after breakfast transfer to airport for flight to Lhasa.
Arrive Lhasa, meet assist & transfer to hotel. Overnight at hotel.

Day 09 Lhasa
In the morning after breakfast visit Lhasa.
Dinner & overnight at hotel.

Visit Potala Palace, Jokhang Temple and Barkhor street. (Potala was the winter palace of the Dalai lama, which was originally built in the 7th century by the king Sotsen Gampo and rebuilt to the present size by the 5th Dalai lama in the 17th century. Built in 1416 by Tsongapa’s disciple—Jamyang-choje. Jokhang Temple, one of the oldest temples in Tibet, was built in the 7thcentury by the 33rdking—Sontsanganbu. Barkor is the middle pilgrimage circuit around Jokhang Temple.)

Day 10 Lhasa
After breakfast visit Lhasa.

Visit Drepung Monastery and Norbulinka, Sera Monastery
(Drepung Monastery is the biggest Gelupa monastery in the west suburb of Lhasa.Built in the mid-18th century by the 7th Dalailama.Norbulingka, the Jewel Park was the Dalai lama’s summer palace,
it covers 100 acres with palaces, pavilions and a zoo.Sera is the second biggest Gelupa Monastery in the north suburb of Lhasa, which was built in 1419 by Tsongapa’s disciple—Sakya-yeshi.Situated at the heart of theoldest section of the Lhasa city.)

Day 11 Lhasa – Kathmandu – Delhi (By Flight)
After breakfast transfer to airport for flight to Delhi.
Arrive Delhi meet assist at airport and visit Delhi.
Overnight at hotel.

Meet assist at airport & transfer to hotel (Check-In time 12 noon).
Half day city tour of Delhi.

The Bahai Temple (Lotus Temple) – Completed in 1986, the Bahai temple is set amidst pools and gardens, and adherents of any faith are free to visit the temple and pray or meditate silently according to their own religion.

Jantar Mantar (literally the ‘instrument and formula’ and often called the Jantar Mantar), is located in the modern city of New Delhi.

India Gate is a 42m high stone arch of triumph. It bears the name of the 85,000 Indian Army Soldiers who died in the campaigns of WW1, the North-West Frontiers operations and the 1919 Afghan Fiasco. Below the arch is the memorial to the Unknown Soldier. India Gate is surrounded by green grass lawns and trees.

Humanyun Tomb – It was built in 1565 A.D. nine years after the death of Humayun, by his senior widow Bega Begam. Inside the walled enclosure the most notable features are the garden squares (chaharbagh) with pathways water channels, centrally located well proportional mausoleum topped by double dome.

Jama Masjid – One of the Architectural gift given by Shah Jahan, Jama Masjid is one of the largest mosques not only in Delhi but in India.

Day 12 Delhi – Jaipur (By Road) (260 Kms. / 5 hrs. appx.)
In the morning after breakfast visit Delhi and later drive to Jaipur.
On arrival transfer to hotel.
Overnight at hotel.

Qutab Minar – In 1199, Qutbuddin raised the Qutab Minar either as a victory tower or as a minaret to the adjacent mosque. From a base of 14.32 mtrs. it tapers to 2.75 mtrs. at a height of 72.5 mtrs.

Day 13 Jaipur
In the morning after breakfast full day city tour of Jaipur.
Evening, transfer back to the hotel.
Overnight at hotel.

Jaipur the vibrant capital of Rajasthan is popularly known as the ‘ Pink City ‘ because of the pink-coloured buildings in its old city. It sits on a dry lake bed in a somewhat arid landscape, surrounded by barren hills surmounted by forts and crenellated walls.

Amber Fort – Amber is located at a distance of 11 kilometers from Jaipur and was the old fort of the Kachhwaha clan of Amber, which used to be the capital, till it was moved to Jaipur. The construction of the Amber Fort began in the year 1592 and was started by Man Singh I, but it was finished by his descendant Jai Singh.

City Palace which has museum having an extensive collection of art, carpets, enamel ware and weapons.

Jantar Mantar – the observatory built my Maharaja Jai Singh in 1728 and the façade of Hawa Mahal.

JALMAHAL – (6 kms) on the way to Amer, this small palace is set in the middle of Man Sagar Lake. Renovation around the lake is in progress.

Hawa Mahal – The palace is shaped like a pyramid and is a five-storied building, with number of small windows and screens, with arched roofs. As one looks at this building, one realizes that the rear side of the building is comparatively very plain and lacks much of ornamentation.

Day 14 Jaipur – Fatehpur Sikri – Agra (By Road) (235 Kms. / 5.5 hr. appx.)
After breakfast drive to Jaipur. On the way visit Fatehpur Sikri.
After visit Fatehpur continue drive toward to Jaipur.
On arrival city tour of Agra visit Taj Mahal & Fort.
After visit transfer to hotel. Overnight at hotel.

Fathepur sikri – This magnificent fortifield ghost city was the capital of the Mughal emperor Akbar between 1571 and 1585. The downfall of this once magnificent capital of the Mughals started with the rise of the Jats when Emperor Aurangazeb left this place never to return again. The credit for preserving the ancient monuments situated here goes to Lord Curzon. Since then , these protected monuments and the environs of the city have been well maintained by the Archaeological Survey of India. The city is rectangular in shape with nine huge gates – Delhi Darwaza, Lal Darwaza, Agra Gate, Suraj and Chandra Darwaza, Tehra Gate and Ajmeri Darwaza.

Agra, a romantic city in India, is known for the marble edifice ‘Taj Mahal’ Besides Taj Mahal, Agra is also known for the Agra Fort and Fatehpur Sikri, the red sandstone city made by Emperor Akbar. Agra is a medieval city situated on the banks of the river Yamuna. Sultan Sikandar Lodi, the Ruler of Delhi Sultanate founded it in the year 1504. After the sultan’s death the city passed on to his son Sultan Ibrahim Lodi who ruled his Sultanate from Agra until he fell fighting to Babur in the First battle of Panipat fought in 1526.

Taj Mahal – Described as the most extravagant monument ever built for love, it was constructed by Mughal emperor Shah Jahan as a memorial to his queen Mumtaz Mahal, made out of white marble took 22 years to complete (1630-1652 AD). Ustad Ahamad Lahori, a Persian Architect, is said to be the main designer and planner for this magnificent memorial. On full moon nights, the glory of the Taj is at its best. Over the centuries, the Taj has attracted more visitors than perhaps any other Monuments in the country, and it is all too easy resort to conventional superlatives when describing it. What makes the Taj Unique is its perfect proportions, distinct femininity, medium of construction and ornamentation. Its marble exterior reflects rose and golden tints at sunrise and sunset, while it is dazzling white during the day and glowes pearl-like in the moonlight and during the monsoon.

Agra fort – Construction of the massive red sandstone Agra Fort on the bank of the Yamuna River was begun by Emperor Akbar in 1565, though additions were made up until the rule of his grandson, Shah Jahan. In Akbar’s time the fort was principally a military structure, but during Shah Jaha regin it had partially become Palace. It is an imposing strcture with walls of red sandstone almost three kilometers long. Entered through the Amar Singh Gate, the eastern part of the fort contains palace, audience hall and mosques built by three emperors.

Day 15 Agra–Jhansi (By Train)/ Jhansi–Orchha–Khajuraho (195 Km/ 5.5 hrs)
After breakfast travel by train to Jhansi.
On arrival drive to Khajuraho (short stop in Orchha: tour to all temples:
Arrive Khajuraho – Visit temples. After visit transfer to hotel.

Orchha – was founded in the 16th century by the Bundela Rajput chieftain, Rudra Pratap, who chose this stretch of land along the Betwa river as an ideal site for his capital. Of the succeeding rulers, the
most notable was Raja Bir Singh Ju Deo who built the exquisite Jehangir Mahal, a tiered palace crowned by graceful chhatris. From here the view of soaring temple spires and cenotaphs is
spectacular. Jehangir Mahal built by Raja Bir Singh Ju Deo in the 17th century to commemorate the visit of Emperor Jehangir to Orchha.

Khajuraho- The architectural style of the Khajuraho temples is very different from the temple prototype of that period. Each stands, instead of within the customary enclosure, on a high masonry platform. Combined with the upward direction of the structure, which is further accentuated by vertical projections, the total effect is one of grace and lightness, reminiscent of the Himalayan peaks.

Chaunsath Yogini Temple -Also featuring a fairly extensive collection of erotic stone carvings is the Chaunsath Yogini Temple, a structure dedicated to the goddess Kali and notable for being the only temple in the entire range to have been made from granite. The oldest shrine of any of the temples in the western group can be found at Chaunsath Yogini.

Hindu Temples Brahman, Vamana and Javari comprise the three Hindu temples within the eastern group. All three temples feature the same style of erotic carvings as the others; while Braham is known for its four-faced lingam statue, Vamana for its sculptures of nymphs, and Javari for its magnificent gateway.

Jain Temples Parsvanath which is dedicated to Jain Tirthankara Parshvanatha, is the largest of the Jain Temples and, like the somewhat smaller Adinath (dedicated to the Jain Tirthankara Adinath), features a selection of erotic carvings as well as other stone works telling less sexually explicit stories. Ghantai Temple, meanwhile, features stone carvings that tell the stories of the 16 dreams of Mahavira’s mother. The Jain temples are all a part of the eastern group of temples.

Kandariya Mahadev Temple This is the tallest of the temples, not only in the western group but in the entire collection, and is believed to have been built around 1025 in honour of Lord Shiva. This 30-metre-high structure features erotic carvings along its northern and southern faces but also a variety of others depicting women engaged in non-sexual activity. Notable also, is the large lingam inside of the temple which is commonly held to be a representation of Shiva

Lakshmana Temple Lakshmana is a part of the western group of temples and among the most famous in this category on account of its erotic sculpture collection. While all of the temples in the town feature stone works of this nature, Lakshmana’s collection is especially extensive and the carving particularly sexually graphic, depicting a large number of coital scenarios.

Archaeological Museum -Situated in a building adjacent to the Matangeshwar Temple, the Archaeological Museum was established by government officer WA Jardine in 1910 as a place to house the loose statues and sculptures found lying on the grounds of the ruined ancient temples.

Day 16 Khajuraho – Varanasi (By Flight)
After breakfast transfer to the airport to board the flight to Varanasi.
Evening watch Aarti Ceremony on River Ganges.
Overnight in the hotel.

Ganges: Ghats are the steps on the bank of Ganges which lead down to the river, from where the pilgrims make their sin-cleaning dip in the holy water of the river.

Day 17 Varanasi – Delhi (By Flight)
Early in the morning boat ride on river Ganges.
Back to the hotel for breakfast.
After breakfast city tour of Varanasi.
Later, transfer to airport for flight to Delhi. On arrival transfer to hotel. Free relax. Overnight at hotel.

Visiting the major temples (Benares hindu university, Bharat Mata Mandir, Durga, Tulsi Manas Ki, Almagir mosque). After go to the Sarnath, visiting: Sarnath museum, all Sarnath temples.

Varanasi – It has been known as Kashi and Banaras, its present name is a restoration of the ancient name meaning the city between the two rivers – Varuna and Asi. The eternal city is one of the most important pilgrimage sites in India. Situated on the banks of the sacred river Ganges Kashi Vishwanath Temple. This temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva. It is popularly known as the golden Temple due the Gold plating done on its 15.5 meter high spire.

Sarnath: One of the major Buddhist centers in India. Having achieved enlightenment in Bodhgaya, it was at Sarnath where Buddha came to preach his message of the middle way to final Nirvana. Later emperor Ashoka erected many magnificent stupas and other buildings here. Sarnath was at its peak when Chinese travellers Fa hian and Hiuen Tsang visited the site.

Day 18 Depart Delhi (By Flight)
Transfer to airport for flight back to home.
