Gujarat is the sixth largest state in India and the ninth largest by population. Its people are indigenous to the region and in fact, Gujarat derives its name from the original settlers, the Gurjaras, who ruled the land in the 8th and 9th centuries. It has the highest population of Jains in the nation and the places of worship draw people from across the country for a holy experience.

Gujarat is renowned for its beaches, temples and historical towns. It also offers the eager traveller wildlife sanctuaries and hill resorts that help showcase the best of the state to its visitors.

The state’s economy rests on its arts and crafts, as well as technology. Some of the country’s biggest businessmen come from Gujarat. Whether in art or in business, Gujarat has made a name for itself, and it is this fame that precedes it in the world of travel and tourism.

Day 01 Arrive Ahmedabad (By Flight)
Arrival Ahmedabad. Met and transfer Hotel.
Afternoon sightseeing of Ahmedabad.
Overnight in Ahmedabad.

Ahmedabad, also known as Amdavad is the second largest city of west India and the largest city in Gujarat. Ahmedabad was also the former state capital of Gujarat. Ahmed Shah I founded this city on the banks of the Sabarmati river in 1411 and thus named as Ahmedabad. Ahmedabad is also known for its association with the Mahatma Gandhi, the father of the nation and is one of the India’s foremost industrial centres. It is a place where tradition and modernity co-exist in perfect harmony.

Day 02 Ahmedabad
After Breakfast proceed for Halfday visit to Calico Museum to see various collection of Textile Weaving and traditional part from varies city’s from Gujarat Wednesday and all Public Holidays are closed.

Afternoon our transport will be with you for a shopping and bazaar visit.

Calico Museum of Textiles is widely regarded as one of the finest textiles museums in the world. This museum was started in Calico Textile Mill. The museum is housed inside one of Gujarat’s famous carved wooden haveli in Shahi Bagh Gardens. This museum was inaugurated by Pandit Nehru in 1948, and is now managed by the Sarabhai foundation. Calico Museum of Textiles has excellent collection of antique and modern textiles including heavy brocades, fine embroideries, sarees, carpets, turbans, rare tapestries, wall hangings, Maharaja’s costumes, old weaving machines and royal Mughal tents. It also houses an excellent collection of Jain manuscripts.

Day 03 Ahmedabad – Lothal – Bhavnagar (By Road) (237 Kms. / 5 hrs)
After breakfast drive to Bhavnagar via Lothal, One-way visit the Lothal Harappan Archeological site, Evening upon arrival check in at the Hotel later evening visit the Bazar of Bhavnagar.
Overnight Bhavnagar.

Lothal is situated about 85 kms. southwest of Ahmedabad. This important archaeological site was discovered in 1954. The city that stood here 4500 years ago is clearly related to the Indus Valley cities of Mohenjodaro and Harappa, both in Pakistan. It has the same neat street pattern, carefully assembled, neat brickwork and scientific drainage system. Lothal means mound of the dead in Gujarati. Lothal is located between the Sabarmati river and the Bhogavo river and is now 10 kms.

Day 04 Bhavnagar – Palitana – Diu (By Road) (260 Kms. / 6 hrs. appx.)
After breakfast drive to Diu on way visit Palitana, Shatrunjaya temple later proceed to Diu, An sea cost available the best beach of Gujarat.
On arrival check in at a Hotel.
Overnight in Diu.

Palitana is a sacred city of the Jains located about 215km. from Ahmedabad and 51 kms southwest of Bhavnagar. It was the capital of a small princely state founded by Shahji, a Gohel Rajput who belonged to the same clan as the Maharaja of Bhavnagar.

The Shatrunjaya Hill is located at a height of 591 metres. The Shatrunjaya Temple is the most sacred temple of the Jains and one of the largest of its kind in India. All the temples are enriched with gold, silver and jewels donated by rich merchants. According to local tradition, Adinatha, the first Jain Tirthankara, visited the hill several times and the first temple was erected by his son.

Daman and Diu are the two tiny union territories which were the Portuguese enclaves. Geographically, Daman and Diu are the part of the state of Gujarat and connected to the mainland of Gujarat by a causeway. Diu is a tiny island in the Arabian Sea, about 11 kms. long and 3 kms. wide, separated from the coast by a narrow channel running through the swamp and two tiny mainland enclaves.

Day 05 Diu
Full-day enjoy the beach activity with a half day sightseeing of Diu.
Overnight in Diu.

The northern side of the island facing Gujarat is tidal marsh and salt pans, while the southern coast alternates between limestone cliffs, rocky coves and sandy beaches. The island’s main industries are fishing, tourism, booze and salt. This beautiful island has excellent golden beaches.

Day 06 Diu – Sasangir (By Road) (150 Kms. / 3 hrs. appx.)
After Breakfast proceed to Sasangir.
An Asiatic Lions of Gir National Park.
Evening visit the Lion Sanctuary.
Overnight in Sasangir.
Stay at Jungle Camp/Hotel for 1 Night.

** Special Note: Sasangir Sanctuary is closed every year 15 June to 15th Oct in this period the said package replaced at Gondal i.e Diu to Gondal via Junagadh and in total 2 Nights at Gondal including the Day 06 – Sasangir

Sasan Gir Wildlife National Parks, Sanctuary – Sasan Gir National Park was established on 18th September, 1965, as a Forest Reserve, primarily to conserve the Asiatic lion-classified as one of the World’s most threatened species. Now Gir National Park is the only remaining place in the world, where one is likely to see the Asiatic Lion.

Day 07 Sasangir – Junagadh – Gondal (By Road) (130 Kms. / 4 hrs. appx.)
After breakfast drive to Gondal.
On way visit Junagadh at Junagadh visit the famous Ashok Rock Edict, Junagadh Museum etc.
Evening arrival at Gondal, An Historical city.
Overnight at Gondal.

Junagadh was the capital of the Junagadh state under the Muslim rulers of Babi Nawabs. In Gujarati, “Junagadh” means an ancient fort. The town of Junagadh takes its name from the fort that enclosed the medieval town.

Ashok Rock Edict – Ashoka’s Major Rock Edicts refer to 14 separate major Edicts of Ashoka. They are all inscribed on a rock located outside the town of Junagadh on the Saurashtra peninsula in the state of Gujarat.

Durbar Hall Museum – Durbar Hall Museum houses a large collection of silver chains, chandeliers, thrones, palanquins, weapons and armour from the days of the Nawabs. There is also a portrait gallery of the Nawabs. This museum was once the hall where the Nawabs held their Darbars assemblies.

Gondal is a city and a municipality in Rajkot district in the Indian state Gujarat. Gondal state was one of the eight first class princely states of Kathiawar.

Naulakha Palace – Is the oldest extant palace in Gondal, dating back to the 17th century. It has legendary stone carvings with exquisite “jharokhas” balconies, a fabulous pillared courtyard, delicately carved arches, and a unique spiral staircase. The large chandelier-lit “durbar” hall court house witnesses stuffed panthers, gilt wooden furniture, and antique mirrors. The Private palace museum displays an impressive display of silver caskets which were in the services of carrying messages and gifts for Maharajah Bhagwat Sinhji on his silver jubilee as ruler of Gondal.

Day 08 Gondal – Rajkot – Wankaner (By Road) (95 Kms. / 2.5 hr. appx.)
After Breakfast Drive to Wanakner on way visit Rajkot including the Watson Museum, Rashtriya Shala to see the weaving cloths and local Rajkot City.
Afternoon arrival at Wanakner enjoy a visiting the Palace Museum and local Village.
Overnight at Wankaner.

The beautiful city of Rajkot is located on the banks of the Aji River and Nyari River. Rajkot is well-known for its royal living. The city is also famous for its handicrafts and silver jewellery. It is the fourth largest city in Gujarat. Rajkot is a multicultural city and is a part of Kathiyawad and people of Rajkot are famous as Kathiyawadi’s.

Watson Museum – The Watson Museum and Library commemorates the work of Colonel John Watson, political agent from 1886 to 1889. It is a jumbled attic of the collection with the 3rd century inscriptions and a delicate ivory work overseen by a marble statue of Queen Victoria

Rashtriya Shala – Rashtriya Shala was founded by Mahatma Gandhi which has a center of patola weaving.

Day 09 Wankaner – Dasada (By Road) (280 Kms. / 5 hrs. appx.)
After Breakfast drive to Dasada, Home of Asiatic Wild ass known as “ Little Rann Of Kutch” Afternoon visit the sanctuary and take a short trip to the local village to see the local tribes.
Overnight at Dasada.

The little Rann of Kutch – also spelled as Kuchchh is one of the best tourist places in India located near the Great Rann of Kutch in Kutch district of Gujarat state. It’s not only a UNESCO World Heritage Site Tentative List but also the home of world’s last refuge Wild Ass only found here and has been declared as the Indian Wild Ass Sanctuary. Due to the Biodiversity of the Rann, it is also a home to many bird species and it is one of India’s largest Bird Sanctuaries. The little rann of kutch serves as paradise for birdwatchers and bird photographers.

Day 10 Dasada
After Breakfast proceeds for a full day visit to the villages, Sanctuary and the Flamingo’s which migrated during the monsoon season. Time for leisure and enjoy the beauty of the Nature.
Evening return to the resort for Overnight.

Dasada is a small yet gorgeous village in the Indian State of Gujarat. One can locate the hamlet on the outskirts of the Rann of Kutch. The beauty of the place and facts associated with the village boasted tourism to Dasada. A stay in Dasada will introduce you to many facets of Gujrat.
