Day 02 Delhi
After breakfast city tour of Delhi, India’s capital and a major gateway to the country. The division between New & Old Delhi is the distinction between the capitals of the British & the Moghuls respectively.

Tourist Attractions: Jama Masjid, the largest mosque in India. Built by Shah Jahan, the construction was started in 1844 and was not completed until 1658; Red Fort, which was also built by Shah Jehan. This massive fort was built from 1638 to 1648; Chandni Chowk and Rajghat – the cremation site of Mahatma Gandhi. Witness the India Gate, the Presidents House & the Parliament, Qutab Minar. Overnight at hotel.

Day 03 Delhi – Agra (By Road) (208 Kms. / 4H 10M appx.)
After breakfast drive by private AC vehicle to Agra.
On arrival, city tour of Agra.
Visit Mehtaab Bagh, Itmad-ud-daula, Taj Mahal, Red Fort.

Agra has found its mention in the famous Hindu epic Mahabharata as the forest of Agraban close to Mathura Badal Singh founded the city in 1475.

Taj Mahal – Reflects the intensity of love. The fairy tale began when walking through the bazaar of Agra prince qhurram saw a girl. The girl was exceptionally beautiful. It was a love at first sight for both of them. Taj Mahal, which was constructed by Shah Jahan in memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal. Construction of the Taj began in 1631 and was not completed until 1653.

Agra Fort – Built by the great Emperor Akbar in 1565 A.D. the fort is a masterpiece of design and construction.

Day 04 Agra – Fatehpur Sikri – Jaipur (By Road) (245 Kms. / 5H 30M appx.)
After breakfast drive by private AC vehicle to Jaipur enroute visit Fatehpur Sikri.

Fatehpur Sikri – Built by Emperor Akbar in 1569, was the old capital of the Moghuls, which was abandoned after 15 years due to scarcity of water. The sloping levels of the city were connected into terraces which were utilised for various complexes such as Jami masjid, Buland-Darwazah and tomb of Sheikh Salim Chishti; Khass Mahal, Shahi-Bazar, Mina-Bazar, the Panch-Mahal, Khwabgah, Diwan-i-Khass, Anup-Talao, Chaupar and Diwan-i-Am. The efficient system of drainage and water-supply adopted here suggest an extremely intelligent town-planning by the Mughal emperor.

Arrive Jaipur and check in at your hotel. Overnight at hotel.

Day 05 Jaipur
After breakfast full day sightseeing of Jaipur including Amber fort with Jeep ride or Elephant ride.

Jaipur – Popular in the name of Pink City, Jaipur is and important destination in Golden Triangle of Indian tourism. founded in 1727 AD by one of the greatest rulers of the Kachhawaha clan, the astronomer king Sawai Jai Singh. The pink color was used at the time of making to create an impression of red sandstone buildings of Mughal cities – and repainted in 1876, during the visit of the Prince of Wale Excursion to Amber Fort. Elephant ride from the foothills of the Aravallis to the fort entrance.

Amber Fort: At a distance of 11 kms from Jaipur, Amber was the ancient capital of Jaipur state. Construction of the fort began in 1592 by Raja Man Singh, the Rajput commander of Akbar‘s army and is a superb example of Rajput architecture. Overnight at hotel.

Day 06 Jaipur – Jodhpur (By Road) (260 Kms. / 4H 50M appx.)
After breakfast drive by private AC vehicle to Jodhpur. On arrival check into your respective hotel.
Later, city tour of Jodhpur.

Jodhpur – Nestling within the depths of the Thar Desert is the stronghold of the Rathore clan – Jodhpur, once the capital of the former princely state of Marwar, the second largest city of Rajasthan, after Jaipur. The town was once known as Marwar, which means ‘Land of Death’, probably, referring to the harsh desert climate. It is an island of marble palaces, cordoned off from the desert by an immense wall, with eight gates facing different directions.

Tourist Attractions – Mehrangarh Fort It is situated on a 150m high hill. Rao Jodha, the then chief of Rathore clan, constructed it in 1459. There are a number of attractions within the fort like several palaces, galleries, a museum, temples and so on, other attraction Jaswant Thada, Clock Tower and Sardar Market. Overnight in Jodhpur.

Day 07 Jodhpur – Ranakpur – Udaipur   (By Road) (260 Kms. / 6H appx.)
After breakfast drive by private a/c vehicle to Udaipur via visit Ranakpur Jain Temples. On arrival check into your respective hotel

Ranakpur – The main tourist attractions of Ranakpur are its famous temples. Situated approximately 90km from Udaipur, the Ranakpur temple complex is a must see. The main Chaumukha temple (Four-Faced Temple) is dedicated to Adinath, the first tirthankar. The two other Jain temples in the complex are dedicated to Neminath and Parasnath. There is also the Sun temple and the Amba Mata temple near the main complex. These temples are the most renowned Jain temples built in 15th century and is 90 kms away from Udaipur. Covering an area of 40,000 sq feet with several halls & pillars which are individually carved, the temples of Ranakpur are worth visiting. Overnight in Udaipur.

Day 08 Udaipur
After breakfast go for city tour of Udaipur.

Udaipur: One of the most romantic cities in Rajasthan, Udaipur is also known as the city of lakes. The marble palaces, beautifully laid out gardens and the lakes make Udaipur seem almost like a mirage. The City of Dawn, surrounded by the ancient Aravali Mountains and set on the edge of three lakes, is a brilliant kaleidoscope of narrow lanes flanked by bright stalls, gardens, lakes, palaces and temples.
‘Udaipur’, known as the lovely lakeside capital of Mewar.

Other attractions: – City Palace & Musium, Saheliyon-ki-Bari, Pratap Memorial, Pichhola Lake, Gulab Bagh.

PM – Boat ride on Lake Pichhola.

Pichhola Lake: The picturesque lake that entranced Maharaja Udai Singh. It was later enlarged by the founder. The lake is surrounded by hills, palaces, temples bathing ghats and embankments. Two island palaces, Jag Mandir and Nag Niwas (Lake Palace) on the lake are of breathtaking magnificence. Overnight at hotel.

Day 09 Udaipur – Chennai (By Flight)
After breakfast, transfer to airport for flight to Chennai.
On arrival, meet assist and transfer to the hotel.

Chennai, on the Bay of Bengal in eastern India, is the capital of the state of Tamil Nadu. The city is home to Fort St. George, built in 1644 and now a museum showcasing the city’s roots as a British military garrison and East India Company trading outpost, when it was called Madras. Religious sites include Kapaleeshwarar Temple, adorned with carved and painted gods, and St. Mary’s, a 17th-century Anglican church.

Day 10 Chennai – Kanchipuram – Mahabalipuram (By Road) (138 km/ 3 hrs)
After breakfast, city tour of Chennai – an old colonial port with the Fort Saint. George and the museum with unique souvenirs of the East India Company and the era of the British Raj; walk along the coastal boulevard of Marina Beach to the Cathedral of St. Thoms, where the relics of the Apostle are kept;

Transfer to KANCHIPURAM – the city of a thousand temples and one of the seven holiest pilgrimage centers for Hindus in the north of Tamil Nadu: Ekambaranathar temple, Vaikunta Perumal temple, Varadaraja temple, Kailasanathar temple and Kamakshi Amman temple;

Transfer to MAHABALIPURAM – the 7th century city is considered to be a pioneer of Dravidian architecture, previously called Mallapuram was a famous trading port in the Pallawi kingdom – visiting: Arjuna’s Penance – pride not only of Mahabalipuram and Tamilnadu, but also India – the largest relief in the shape of a whale in the world , measuring 27 meters and 9 meters along its length and width, respectively, contains figures of gods, demigods, humans, animals and birds, and presents the meditation of Arjuna, the prince of Pandava and one of the heroes of the Mahabharata Indian ethos; Five Temples – one of the most magnificent tourist attractions on Mahabalipuram beaches – five monolithic temples, each one created in a different style; Shore Temple – VIII century temple is one of the oldest temples in South India and the oldest in the style of Dravidian architecture.

Day 11 Mahabalipuram–Pondicherry/Chidambaram/Kumbakonam-Tanjore
Breakfast. Ride the route: PONDICHERRY, CHIDAMBARAM – a private temple of Brahmin’s dedicated to Shiva Nataraja – the god of cosmic dance; GANGAI KONDA CHOLAPURAM – “City of Cholts who have conquered the Ganges” – visiting the Shiva temple; KUMBAKONAM – a city and municipality with a special status in the district of Thanjavur is known as a “temple city” due to the presence of many temples and is known from the Mahamaham festival, which attracts people from all over the country – visiting: the oldest in the city from 886. the Nagewara temple dedicated to Shiva; the largest temple dedicated to the cult of Vishnu; DARAŚRAM – visiting the temple of Airawatewara; THAŃDŻAWUR (Tanjore) visiting the Brihadishwara temple from 1010 (on the UNESCO list), whose top was crowned with a granite dome with a golden spire; the palace of the rulers of the Nayak dynasty of the sixteenth century: an extraordinary collection of bronzes from the times of Chol dynasty reigning over all of South India between 907 and 1310.

Day 12 Tanjore – Trichy – Madurai (By Road) (195 kms / 4 hrs approx)
After breakfast, drive to Madurai.
On the way visit Trichy.

Trichy – dominated by a citadel on a rocky slope, and the Ranganatha Swamy Temple – the largest sanctuary in India, created on the island on the Kaveri river, on the area of 60 hectares, the cult of Vishnu developed, especially under the leadership of the great philosopher Ramayun ; from time immemorial, every ruler wanted to worship Vishnu, increasing the wealth of the temple by successive donations.

Later, drive to Madurai.
On arrival, transfer to the hotel.
Evening visit Meenakshi Temple.

MADURAJ – visiting the main attraction of the city – the temple of the militant goddess Meenakshi – one of the greatest achievements of Hindu sacred architecture – this temple is almost 2000 years old and is located in the heart of the old city as a wonderful example of Dravidian architecture.

Participation in the evening puja in the temple – for the night of the brahmins carry the statue of Shiva to the temple of his wife, the goddess Parvati.

Day 13 Madurai
After breakfast, full day city tour of Madurai.
Visit Thirumalaia Nayakkar Mahal, Gandhi Memorial Museum, Koodal Azhagar Temple and Alagar Kovil.

Madurai is an energetic, ancient city on the Vaigai River in the South Indian state of Tamil Nadu. Its skyline is dominated by the 14 colorful gopurams (gateway towers) of Meenakshi Amman Temple. Covered in bright carvings of Hindu gods, the Dravidian-style temple is a major pilgrimage site. Millions attend the processions and ceremonies of April’s Chithirai Festival celebrating Meenakshi and Lord Vishnu.

Day 14 Madurai – Kumarakom (By Road) (271 kms / 6 hrs approx)
After breakfast, drive through the Cardamon Hills to KUMARAKOM. On the way, a view of the tea plantations with eucalyptus trees and pepper bushes, coffee plantations and nutmegs. Around noon, embarkation on a boat and a 2-hour cruise on the back waters – the biggest attraction of Kerala.
Overnight in Kumarakom.

Day 15 Kumarakom – Kochi (By Road) (48 kms / 1.5 hrs approx)
After breakfast, transfer to Cochin.
On arrival, city tour of Cochin.

One of the oldest European settlements in India; here in 1524 Vasco da Gama died and here he was buried in the church of St. Francis, the first Catholic church in India, the Santa-Cruz cathedral, a synagogue in the old Jewish quarter, the Mattancherry Palace built by the Portuguese for the native Rajah.

Day 16 Kochi – Calicut (By Train) / Calicut – Ooty (157 Km/ 4H 50M)
Morning, transfer to railway station for express train to Calicut.
On arrival, meet assist and transfer to Ooty.

Ooty (short for Udhagamandalam) is a resort town in the Western Ghats mountains, in southern India’s Tamil Nadu state. Founded as a British Raj summer resort, it retains a working steam railway line. Other reminders of its colonial past include Stone House, a 19th-century residence, and the circa-1829 St. Stephen’s Church. Its 55-acre Government Botanical Garden lies on the slopes of Doddabetta Peak.

Day 17 Ooty – Coonoor (Toy Train) / Coonoor – Bandipur (68 Km/ 2H 30M)
After breakfast, enjoy toy train ride from Udhagamandalam to Coonoor.
Later, transfer to Bandipur National Park.
PM: Safari in Bandipur National Park.

Bandipur National Park, an 874-sq.-km forested reserve in the southern Indian state of Karnataka, is known for its small population of tigers. Once the private hunting ground of the Maharajas of Mysore, the park also harbors Indian elephants, spotted deer, gaurs (bison), antelopes and numerous other native species. The 14th-century Himavad Gopalaswamy Temple offers views from the park’s highest peak.

Day 18 Bandipur – Mysore – Hassan (By Road) (192 Kms. / 4H 40M appx.)
After breakfast drive to Hassan.
On the way visit Mysore, Srirangapatna and Sravanabelagola.

Mysore (or Mysuru), a city in India’s southwestern Karnataka state, was the capital of the Kingdom of Mysore from 1399 to 1947. In its center is opulent Mysore Palace, seat of the former ruling Wodeyar dynasty. The palace blends Hindu, Islamic, Gothic and Rajput styles. Mysore is also home to the centuries-old Devaraja Market, filled with spices, silk and sandalwood.

Srirangapatna is a town of Mandya district in the Indian State of Karnataka. Located near the city of Mysore, it is of religious, cultural and historic importance.

Shravanabelagola is a town located near Channarayapatna of Hassan district in the Indian state of Karnataka and is 144 km from Bangalore.

Day 19 Hassan- Belur – Halebid – Hampi (By Road) (346 kms. / 6H 45M)
After breakfast, visit the temples in BELUR and HALEBID called Khajuraho noon, where exceptionally beautifully carved temples from the Hojsal dynasty (XII century) make you dizzy, because every square centimeter of stone is covered with a relief of god or sage, heraldic bird or fabulous animal, and dancers bend sensually your stone bodies as alive; drive towards Hampi – one of the biggest, though little known attractions of India inscribed on the UNESCO list.

Day 20 Hampi
Breakfast. Absorbing the magical HAMPI aura – places that are the essence of India for many – the lunar landscape of granite rocks, the ruins of temples embedded in the jungles, ubiquitous monkeys are a paradise for photographers; visiting the Vital Temple – Hampi business cards; walk along the river bank, where we will meet rock cutters carved into the rock, carvings, miniature chapels and mandapas; Hampi Bazar, the temple of Virupakasha, where you can receive a blessing from an elephant; return to Hospet, dinner and overnight.

Day 21 Hampi – Hubli (By Road) (165 Kms. / 4H 30M appx.)
After breakfast, drive to Hubli.
On arrival, city tour of Hubli.

Hubli, or Hubballi, is a city in the south Indian state of Karnataka. Nrupatunga Betta hill offers sunset and city views. Dedicated to Lord Shiva, the centuries-old Chandramouleshwara Temple has black granite pillars and ornate carvings. Gardens surround Unkal Lake, which features a statue of monk Swami Vivekananda in its center. South of the city, Utsav Rock Garden is home to sculptures depicting local folk culture.
